Works great, very stable
I used this to do some injector work on my diesel. It was very stable and was a life saver for the number of hours it took. It held me up very well which is surprising for someone who weighs nearly 280. It could be a bit more comfy with a larger cushion but that might affect its usefulness.

Excellent quality
After reading several poor reviews on the newest model citing poor weld quality I chose to order this one instead. I have spent nearly 40 years in the metalworking industry as a machinist so I am very particular when it comes to quality and craftsmanship. This Traxion creeper meets every expectation I could possibly have. It made the job of changing fuel injectors on my diesel pickup much easier than laying across the engine. Those who say money can’t buy happiness have never spent their money on a Traxion topside creeper!

The base is not level
UPDATE: I fixed the problem with the base, and the rest of the assembly went well. Updated to 3 stars from 2. Plently of height adjustability, and seems sturdy enough in use. One other minor issue I had was the non-skid tread on the steps was peeling off (2 had completely fallen off before I even unpacked it). I wiped the finish on the steps really well with acetone and then reapplied the tread; so far it seems to be adhering much better.------------------original review------------------I was excited to get this to aid in working on my truck; standing on a platform and having to reach for things in the engine compartment is getting to be a pain in the back.Unfortunaley, after completing the first couple of steps during assembly I realized the based was crooked and the wheels won't all touch the floor. I moved it around to make sure it wasn't just a low spot, but the same wheel remained off the ground. The problem is the c-channels that hold the beams for the wheels weren't welded level; it's hard to see until the beams are bolted on.Traxion was responsive (the reason I give this 2 stars instead of just 1) and sent me a new center beam that indicates it was inspected, but unfortunately this one is just like the original. Based on them being out of line by about the same amount I can only conclude that there is a jig used during assembly that needs to be realigned. I emailed them informing them of this, and told them I'll just fix this myself. I'm fortunate to have a welder, so will just cut one side off and get it put on correctly.I may update this review once I have this fully assembled and can actually use it.

One of those “how did I manage without it before?” kind of tools
I decided to go with this NXT model because it stows away in less space than the original topside creeper design (see photos). Plus there are more height adjustments with this ones ladder. I’m happy with the tools functionality and safety features. It’s a great tool overall, but there are some shipping and packaging cons that cost it one star. The cardboard packaging is poor for an item of this weight. While double boxed, mine arrived with the tape busted at both ends and the box partially opened as a result. The small cardboard package of fasteners inside was ripped open jostling around on the long voyage from China. As a result of that, and the main box opening up, I was missing about 10 pieces of hardware so could not complete assembly on the day it arrived. Traxion support did come thru shipping all the missing fasteners out for free after I called them, and was able to assemble a week later. Still a lot of scratches, rip in the red vinyl, and a few slightly bent pieces I elected to repair myself. Several parts didn’t line up for fasteners due to these packaging / shipping defects. Should really be washers included for each fastener but there are none used in the assembly design. Paint design labeling/printing on steel sides differs from Amazon photos.I’d buy it again, just wish Traxion would spent a few more pennies on straps instead of packing tape, thicker cardboard packaging overall, and more internal cardboard packing pieces to prevent bends and scrapes of painted surfaces. Would like it about one foot longer on top too for a bit more reach. But it’s still a great back saver working on diesel trucks.

Sturdy topside creeper
Creeper is very solid, assembly wasn’t too difficult, I had to enlarge one of the holes to get a pin to fit. Other than that everything was good quality.

Dangerously poor welds & rough packaging
They say a picture is worth 1000 words. If you look at the pictures, you’ll see a busted weld and scraping all over the powder coat. I just got it today and this is what I found. Busted welds and poor tolerances. It’s way too big to ship back so I made an angle bracket and bolted it in place. I did call customer service and they said they’d send me a replacement piece. Truthfully - I feel more confident with my angel bracket than their cheap welds. If it was a smaller item I’d return it. No quality control at all.

Sturdy
More suitable for a taller person. Hard on the neck if used for a long period of time.easy to use well made but a little pricey.
