Greece Actually: A perfect feel-good beach read (Summer Romances)

Read this in a day, couldn’t put it down! Yet again a fabulous Greek island set read by Sue Roberts, with again, such likeable characters. I’ve booked to go to a Greek island next week - just wished I’d have saved the book until then! I give this book 5 stars.

This was a totally engaging book full of warmth and friendship. The descriptions of the warm Greek nights and delicious foods made you feel like you were actually there. It reminded me so much of the wonderful holidays I have had in Greece and made me want to return very soon. This is a great book to wind down with. Just pour a glass of rich red wine and maybe a some cheese and olives and enjoy the trip.

This book had me engrossed from the start. Such a lovely story. I felt like I was in Greece. I love a romantic story with a happy ending. Perfect holiday reading.

My first read of this author, tempted by the 5* reviews. I did appreciate the Greek island setting and it did make me want to see it for myself, but the writing fell short. Hate to say it but it seemed amateurish, abrupt and unsatisfying, for example I was waiting for the ex boyfriend’s character and storyline to develop and provide suspense but it just didn’t. I’m not usually one for leaving a poor review but I did expect more after the hype and was really disappointed. I wanted to love it but it left me flat without the rosy glow I hoped for.

I love these books a good feel good read to take your mind of all the worries in these pandemic times I can feel the sand between my toes enjoy

I've read all of sues books and they're great. I couldn't wait for this one and it didn't let me down. Hopefully next month I can go to some of these places. Fingers crossed.
