They are very reliable and fast
We have two of these. They are very reliable and work great. We use them at the racetrack to download our CF cards to edit the photos for our newspaper and site coverage articles.

doesn't seem to overheat or get overly hot during use
Seems to work very well in my iMac desktop and MacBook Lappy. Transfer speeds are pleasantly fast using the usb 2 to usb c connection. I have had overheating issues with some cf Express B card readers using the double ended usb c connections with Mac systems. This one does not overheat or get overly warm when transfers are taking place. This unit is not heavy but it has some heft so it stays put on my desk without getting in the way of anything I am doing. I am finding it to be a solid purchase that works very well. I am a photographer and transfer hundreds of images at a time an have had no issues thus far.

Corrupts Files!!
Fast, but not worth the corrupted files! This card worked fantastic for me for about half a dozen transfers, and now it's VERY unreliable, so much so that I'm trashing it and getting another one. If you dare use this card, make sure you're also writing to a backup in camera, because it's highly likely that this reader will corrupt your files on transfer!! I found this out the hard way the first time, after shooting a huge all day project. Luckily I was able to save the files but it was way too close for comfort.

The Reader for the Card
The newer, faster memory cards need a newer, faster card reader. This is the one. It’s well made, works well, and is reasonably priced. Downloading 45 megapixel images into Lightroom is fast and easy. Older cameras and cards require another card reader. My computer has the necessary number and kinds of USB ports for a set of two card readers, this one and a two slot reader for other kinds of cards. Some may prefer a multiple slot reader that accommodates all camera cards, but this setup allows higher quality, specialized readers to match one’s needs. If you have upgraded to newer camera equipment and need a card reader like this one, buy it without reservation. It’s a very good product.

Really fast
Blazing fast speed if you have the right port on your computer. Works fine with other brand cards, no issues with heating up. My only complaint is with the ridiculously short USB cable. I don't mind paying for quality, but when I do I expect the accessories to be quality too. Lexar is robbing us with this tiny 12" cord.

Lightning fast - no thunderbolt premium!
Crazy fast - close to twice my ProGrade card reader! You won't see full card speeds (some do over 1700 read!) but this dramatically improves my workflow none the less. Build quality is solid but not quite ProGrade level. It would be awesome to have an SD reader and be magnetic base as well (like the ProGrade). All that said either is great but this is worth it for the speed alone without the thunderbolt premium.

Lightening McQueen himself couldn’t be faster
Nice and sturdy. Super fast transfer speeds and reliable. Even accidental edited Lightroom photos directly on it while it was hooked up and worked like an ssd with my CF Express type B hooked up to it. I just wish it was compatible with my Xqd cards as well

Kompakt und schnell
Kompakt. Schnell. Einfach einzurichten. Bin super zufrieden. Bei der Lesegeschwindigkeiten kann man sogar direkt auf der Karte bearbeiten und danach erst auf PC importieren. Bin sehr zufrieden

Good product
The transfer speed for transferring photos or video files from CFexpress cards to the computer was in another league compared to the transfer speeds of SD cards. Must have for people wanting to transfer large video files.

Producto con una gran calidad
Quizá no sea el lector más barato pero con este tipo de tarjetas los costos en general se elevan. Es un lector rápido, incluye un cable de alta velocidad de transmisión de datos super práctico que ya tiene incluido un adaptador USB-C a USB-A en el mismo cable sin tener que cargar nada extra. El producto está super bien diseñado y super bien construido. Es de esas cosas en las que no hay que escatimar cuando necesitas trabajar con fotos o video en este tipo de tarjetas.

確かに読み込みが速いが
パソコンのUSBの仕様もケーブルもこの製品に適合している状態で使用中。 今まで使用していたSDカードに比べると体感で３倍くらい転送が速い。発熱もさほど気にならない。しかし満足な速さではない。
