Great for making jerky!
I'm sure the first question on most people's mind is "why would I need a gallon of soy sauce?" Well considering it's the prime ingredient in nearly every major jerky marinade recipe, if you're into making your own jerky, that's the answer right there. This stuff has a great flavor, has predictable levels of salt, and you'll have so much to spare you really don't have to hold back. Dump a few glugs into your bowl, whisk in some honey, spices, whatever else you got, and then add your meat. 12 hours later it's ready to dry. Boom.And I suppose you can put it on Chinese food too, but you don't need a whole gallon to season your take-out. I use it for jerky.

Generic US soy source
It's the most generic and cheap soy sauce you can get on amazon. It's cheap for its price and it just an average soy sauce. Don't expect anything more but it's something.

I cant even find the smaller jug at local grocery stores so though this is very large I do use it quite a but and was happy to see it on Amazon at a good price as well.

This brand of soy sauce has been around for years and is commonly found in Asian restaurants in small bottles. We like to use this soy sauce in our Asian dishes and add it to rice, vegetables, meats, etc.It can be used as a substitute for salt in some dishes because of its saltiness. It is rather pricey and there are other brands of soy sauce that can be found at lower prices. However, different brands have different tastes/flavors and different levels of saltiness. We personally like this brand because of its flavor.

The red cap arrived shattered
Great product, terrible shipping. My red plastic cap arrived in splinters; the seller needs to tape some bubble wrap over the cap or something before packaging it. I contacted Kikkoman customer service and they said they don’t sell directly over Amazon so they were not at fault but they nicely sent me a new cap.In the future when ordering I will keep my old cap until the new bottle arrives so I can use it if the cap again arrives damaged.
