I’m a beginner to fly fishing and didn’t really know what I needed. This set made is easy for me and should be a great start to fly fishing. It included some accessories I know I needed along with other useful tools that weren’t even on my radar. Quality is great and the packaging with the instructions were a nice bonus.

This is a nice set of tools well made and very tough. They will help this old set of hands out over the years. Many thanks tight lines.

This pack has all of the little accessories you need as an angler. This makes a miserable part of gearing up affordable, and does it with quality parts. There are some heavier duty retractors on the market but you’ll end up paying $20+ for just the retractor alone if you go elsewhere. If you take care of your gear it will give you years of use. Great set.

This kit is exactly what the doctor ordered when you're setting up a new person for fly fishing. It has everything you need, and you can then attach things to your sling or vest.

I haven’t used all of the tools yet (just received the set in the last day or two), but I can already tell you that the nippers in this set are the worst nippers in the history of nippers.I went to set up two reels tonight (i.e. add backing, connect line to backing), and couldn’t believe it when the nippers couldn’t cut all the way through either the dacron backing or (and I mean OMG!!!) the little 4W line that I was tying in. I mean, honestly, how much does it take to ensure that nippers are sharp enough to cut backing and line?Already online looking for a set of nippers that, you know, works.

I don’t review often, but I’m getting into fly fishing and it’s a little overwhelming. This kit was great. Good quality items that are less expensive than buying separate.
