Cantu Care for Kids Conditioning Detangler, 6 fl oz (Pack of 3)

We love this detangler. I have 3 girls and this detangler has been a lifesaver. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t weigh their hair down and make it look greasy oily like some other brands we tried. It also works on my older daughter’s thick, wavy hair and my middle daughter’s super fine hair. I’ve even used it on my hair and prefer it to other products. Nice, light fragrance too.

I was very surprised to find out that this product is NOT SEALED under the lid considering it is a beauty product... but, it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.I am using this on my 10 Month old baby girl who has extremely long and curly hair. To prevent over-washing and over-drying from excessive shampooing, I like using this product for her hair in between washes AND for styling.PROS/• gentle enough for kids AND babies• does NOT harden your hair or scalp• does NOT dry out or flake• does not leave residue on hair or scalp• scent is really nice and not overwhelming• a little goes a long way• formula consistency is nice- not overly thick, not oily or greasy*In between washes—I use this product on days that I do not wash/shampoo my baby’s hair (over washing can be damaging to baby’s hair and even to adults!), it definitely does keep her hair moisturized and soft. When it’s time to wash/shampoo during bath time, this leave-in conditioner EASILY washes out!*Styling—I love love love using this product on my baby’s hair when styling. It’s smooth enough to style her entire head of soft curls, but “strong” enough to help me gather hair when I am brushing or combing through. I personally like adding a little extra when I tie my baby’s hair in a rubber band... it makes it 10 xs easier to remove the band at the end of the day WITHOUT damaging my baby’s hair.RECOMMEND/I will be purchasing another as soon as I am done with this container. I would definitely recommend this product to others as well. I do wish that this item was sealed... makes it a little difficult to see or know if someone has tampered with it prior to receiving. Nonetheless... 5 stars, great product!UPDATE: 02/01/2022–It’s been nearly a year of using this product- wow! My daughter is now 21 Months old and we are on our THIRD container of this product. Third!!! We love it. Around the 2nd container, her hair grew so much more (I don’t think it was because of the product) but because of the growth, we increased the amount of product we use each time. Her curls give so much shrinkage but length wise it’s in the middle of her back. I’ve included a few recent photos of my baby’s hair, both styled using the product and with her loose natural curls immediately after wash/shampoo and the day after wash/shampoo… hope this helps! 🙂

We were using a spray leave in condition but the kid's hair was so dry! Decided to give this a try and there's a SIGNIFICANT difference/improvement in their hair! Glad we found this! And it smells nice, too.

Only leave in that isn’t too heavy for my babies hair! Leaves her curls soft & perfect

This Cantu detangler has become a staple for our entire family - I use it, and it works great for everyone from toddlers to adults. The product itself is genuinely effective, especially for curly hair types. It makes detangling much easier and less painful, adds just the right touch of moisture without being greasy, and helps manage tangles and frizz really well.The scent is wonderful - not too strong but pleasant enough that everyone in the family likes it. It leaves hair feeling silky smooth and shiny, and the moisturizing effect lasts for several hours after application. For curly hair specifically, it makes everything much more manageable, which is exactly what you want in a detangling product.However, I have to be honest about a major frustration with this product: the bottle design and pump spray are absolutely terrible. It’s incredibly difficult to dispense the product properly. The pump mechanism doesn’t work smoothly, and you end up fighting with it every time you want to use it. This became so annoying that I actually ended up transferring the product to a different bottle just so I could use it effectively.This is particularly frustrating because the product itself is so good. When you have a great formula that works well for the whole family, the last thing you want is to be battling with the packaging every time you need to use it. It’s such a simple thing, but when you’re dealing with wet hair and trying to detangle someone’s (or your own) hair, a poorly designed dispenser becomes a real problem.Despite the packaging issues, I continue to buy this because the product quality is excellent and it works for everyone. I just wish Cantu would redesign their bottle and pump system. If they fixed that one issue, this would be a perfect product.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This product works so well for my daughter’s hair. They are biracial and have two different textures. It’s moisturizing and helpful when detangling. It’s also light enough that it doesn’t weigh down their hair. It took me a while to find just the right product for them.

My daughter has mixed hair. On the whiter side but coil curls that get really frizzy. This helped so much at bath time. Price is the best you will get. Sometimes I leave it in and it makes the hair nice and soft.

Smells good, makes hair brushing so easy
