Absolutely love this fun, funny, informative, helpful, easy read! Was my go to nightly read this week while half way through my pregnancy. Snapped pics of so many funny, relatable parts to send to my other new mom friends. Even bought another copy for my sisters who’s expecting. Love this book! First parenting to be book I actually laughed through and felt more at ease then before. Favorite part was the script of trying to name your child with your husband too funny and accurate! Worth the $11 by far.

Loved it! Cover to cover in one day! I don't have kids but it was still a very heartfelt, truthful and well written piece that had me hoping to be a remarkably average parent one day. Definitely not just a "parenting" book, I'm going to share it with all my friends! It's also a beautifully assembled book with gorgeous photos and fun charts and I know it's something I will pick up and read again! Great job Ilana Wiles :-)

I haven't been this excited about a book in a very long time!!! As a mom to a 3 year old this book was exciting to read and very relateable to my life. I cracked up reading this book and I also related to a lot of things in the book. I would highly recommend this book to moms and new moms. And even moms to be. Also I highly recommend to follow her blog!!!!

This book is colorful, laugh-out-loud funny, and a breath of fresh air to all parents are under pressure to be perfect. Ilana is REAL... seriously. She doesn't sugar coat. Her personality is found on every page! This would be a great gift for a new parent, or an experienced parent who can reminisce about those earlier stages. As someone without children (and a very long time away from motherhood), Ilana Wiles is a testament to the type of woman and mother I want to be. She rocks! This book is nothing short of AMAZING. Refreshing book about parenting. Ilana is not an expert or a doctor or anything, and she doesn't pretend to be. It reminds me of the girlfriend's guide to pregnancy, except about kids and parenting and it reads less raunchy. But it gives the same kind of information: no medals are being rewarded for mommying. Do your best and don't sweat comparing yourself to others. Laugh at the yicky stuff and the tantrums.Ilana's tone is very accessible and I was happily surprised at the meatiness of the book. It's not just a coffee table book like some other bloggers' books.In short, a great read and a great gift for a new mom/dad or mom/dad to be!

I don't think I have laughed this hard while reading. I love how someone else can relate to being a parent. And it was great that there was no bashing the spouse in the process.

I am of the younger of Ilana's audience I believe because I am not a mother and am actually just a nanny. Even though I am not a mother I found this book to be not only hilarious and oh so true but also helpful with tips and reassurance that it is okay to not do everything right all the time. If you are a mother or a father or a grandmother or a grandfather or an aunt or an uncle or a nanny or a children lover or even someone who doesn't like children at all THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! Way to go Ilana!!

Sometimes you just want to read something that makes you laugh and this book fits the bill. Living with two kids of similar age gap to the author’s kids really made all her jokes hit home. It feels nice to read something and feel seen.

Have been following her blog and Instagram for quite awhile. She tells great stories about real life. Love following her family.

I highly recommend this book, to existing Mum's looking for someone who thinks like them, and for all new Mum's.

As a Mommy Shorts fan I absoultelty loved it! I don't even have kids but the stories are so funny and I think they could be relatable to other parents. If you do not follow her on social media I highly reccomed it, she is hilarious!

Brilliant

This book is a must-have for all moms, new moms, and soon-to-be moms. I would read it and be laughing so hard that my husband would ask me to re-read what was so comical. I love her "real" approach to parenting and all that it entails. Ilana is the best!
