Great track cleaner.
Great tool for track cleaning. The image shown is the older version but I received the updated, better version which is rectangular with sharper corners. There is no brand name printed on the newer version ( which seems to bother some people lol) but it’s a much better cleaner.

Just what the track ordereed
As soon as this cleaned the track the locomotive stared an easy acceleration and no pause, and this was using DC only. Small and convenient and it works as promised.

Initial looks are deceiving
Product does look like item shown in ad. No name on product as shown in ad and different shape than ad pictured which almost triggered an immediate return. I did try to use it a little just to see. It does seem to work decently to clean the rails on my HO layout. Deducted star do to misrepresented appearance of product.

Pricey but efective.
These track cleaners are the best I have seen in my many years of model railroading. They are a bit pricey but look like they will outlast the old abrasive style of cleaners by at least three times. So, all in all, they average out to the same price as they are asking for the old style and they are much easier to hold onto. Very pleased.

Works well, but can be hazardous.
Bought this as I didn't have anything to clean my track with. It works REALLY WELL, my track was noticeably cleaner and shinier after using it. However, the process of cleaning the rubber itself (as stated on the instructions in the tiny package) involves scraping/cutting a layer of the rubber off with a knife when it gets covered in grime. I accidentally cut multiple parts of my hand while doing this, resulting in band aids and blood.
