Alpaca Soft DK 209 Enchanted

This is beautiful yarn and my favorite to use in making gloves. It is soft, warm and knits a lovely stockinet stitch. I have used this yarn several times. I was disappointed that the color was darker than shown in the picture. In the picture is looks more rose but the actual color is more burgundy but it will make a lovely set of gloves so I and busy knitting.

I bought the yarn because Arne and Carlos recommended it for their charming knitted Christmas balls. The yarn is just lovely ... and the yarn shop from which I bought it was just as nice! A most pleasant purchasing experience!

It is so easy to work with. Very soft.

Hats

70% wool (30% alpaca) but advertised in large letters as Alpaca. This caught me out as I needed 100% alpaca.The wool is ok, not the softest virgin wool I've felt but is neat to knit with. I would not have bought it had I seen the 30% alpaca.Learnt my wool buying lesson now
