We’ve been looking for a compact chair to keep in the small trunk of our new convertible. I received the Bluu Ultralight and unpacked it today. I assembled it without reading the instructions (typical man) and it couldn’t be any easier (or I’m just really smart)! I love the headrest, cup holder, two pockets for stuff, super light weight and ease of assembly. It’s also really small when disassembled and stowed in it’s included carrying case. For me, the headrest is a little low (and I’m only 5’9”), but still very comfortable. It would be nice if it had the option to adjust the back to be a little more upright, but you can’t have everything in a chair this small and compact. Maybe I’ll carry two wooden blocks to prop up the back legs!

Last time I did this hike, I was at the top and wanted a chair I could sit in. That’s when I found this item. It’s super lightweight and compact and easy to put together. Exactly what I was looking for.

Took a minute to learn to put it together out of the bag. But it's a super chair. Light weight and fairly sturdy when assembled. I love that you can push yourself up by the frame. That's a huge plus with these old knees. Looks great. Love the color.

This is a revision of my previous review. I wanted a chair that was lightweight, easy to setup, store and carry to use at a park. This chair was relatively easy to set up after a few uses but it will take longer than some chairs that just fold. Folding up the chair is hard because the Velcro strap for holding the legs together is short. Perhaps someone will upload a video of doing this most efficiently. After folding this a number of times it is easier but still cumbersome. To be used as a portable chair the carry bag must be large enough, robust and easy to pack The problem with this bag is that the zipper should be stronger. With only one pull, no dual pulls, is harder to use. to use. The zipper on my unit broke making the carrying case useless. Because of this I gave the bag a 2 star review. Much to my very pleasant surprise the company reached out to me and replaced the chair and bag. This level of customer concern and care is to be applauded. It is nice to see a company work hard to have customers pleased with their product.In folding the chair it is critical to fold the cloth similarly to how it comes from the factory, ie folding from sides and then rolling the cloth around the poles. This allows it to fit more easily into the bag. The chair is comfortable.The chair is light weight and easy to travel with.

Wonderfully comfortable and light weight. The high back is great.I would suggest assembling/disassembling several times before you need to actually use them.Remember to use the tab to help insert that final leg!Beware. One of our bottom leg caps came off when we removed it from where it had sunk into the wet beach sand. Dug the cap out and replaced it on the cleaned off leg. No problems since. Just be aware and check the legs when you’re packing up to go home!Really love these chairs.

I'm 72 inches tall, and so far the only chair of this style I've found which fits me reasonably well is the Helinox Savanna. This BLUU chair, like most others, has a metal support tube directly behind where my head naturally rests. The padded head rest does not cover this metal support, and is far too low to be useful for me. This arrangement is not terribly UN-comfortable, but it's not great either. This is not a chair I could nap in. The headrest is however one of the nicer ones I've seen and would probably be fantastic for someone approximately 60 to 66 inches tall. If you're tall and have deep pockets, I've already mentioned the chair you want. If you're short on height or money, this chair is definitely worth considering.This chair has decent pockets, I like the double-tube cross-brace under the seat because it's easy to grab onto while assembling the chair, and it's quite compact and light. The lightweight fabric (black with orange trim) compromises more toward portability than durability, which I prefer, but not everyone will. It's possible other fabric colors are of a different weight.The actual weight of the chair is 3lbs, 4.8oz, NOT the two pounds as advertised. The carry bag is roughly another 5oz.My "new" chair arrived in used condition. It was dirty and was not folded and wrapped up as you'd expect from a new item. It came with a customer service card stating that they only sell new products, and asking me to report if I receive a used product. I presume this is Amazon's fault, and I'm not reducing my rating of this chair based on Amazon's shady business practices.For the $53 I paid, I'm fairly happy with this chair. The chair I really want is more than four times as much.

The chair arrived about a month ago and I've used it on two campouts and numerous home campfires. The only two issues I've found is the zipper on the carry bag stitching has come undone and the velcro strap on the legs to hold them in place when you pack it up has come off the frame. This issue has only happened on 1 of the 3 chairs I've purchased so far. They are all functional still and they've been used quite a bit by two scouts and a leader so they are worth it. If after camp season if more happens or a bigger issue arises I'll edit my post.
