A very complete kit!
I would like to start off by saying that I have been the proud owner of a 26 inch Vizio television since 2007, and I was unimaginably upset when it would turn on, but have no image. I did some reading and found out that there are a number of things that can go wrong with the board that cause this problem. I found other repair kits online, but this kit had everything I needed and more. It included many of the parts to completely replace nearly the entire board, although I only needed 2 of them. It does not include a soldering tool, but I was able to borrow one from my father-in-law. All in all, this product provided me with hopefully many more years of life to my television.Pros: All necessary components to rapair board, product clearly labeledCons: Had to borrow a soldering tool.

This kit worked GREAT for me!
My Vizio VW26L had completely quit working. Whenever I would press the power button, the power light would come on and the backlight would engage, but there would be no video. After a few minutes of popping noises, it would power back down. After looking around online to determine what the cause might be, I narrowed it down to faulty capacitors. This repair kit by LCDalternatives completely resolved my problem, and now my son is back to enjoying this TV. The kit contained all of the necessary capacitors as well as solder. The instructional links provided made it very easy to perform the repairs. As easy as this kit was to use, it is still necessary to have some soldering skills before attempting this repair.

Exactly what I needed
I was able to find defective components and replace them with the ones provided. The TV works fine now. Really straightforward. I did have a bit of experience with soldering, but I am not exactly good at it.

Worked Perfectly
I had purchased my Vizio VW26L several years ago. A couple of weeks ago it started to take a long time to power on (had to hold down the manual button on the side of the TV). I googled the problem and found this is a common failing and this repair kit as a solution. As soon as I received this repair kit, I took apart the TV, removed the board, and replaced the capacitors. I re-asesmbled the TV to find it working as good as ever. This kit saved me a lot of money over buying a new TV, and for anyone who is comfortable working with a soldering iron, I strongly recommend trying a self-repair before deciding to buy a new TV.

This kit was perfect! We opened the TV and found three bulging capacitors so, we replaced those with the ones provided in the kit and the unit began to function properly again. If you are looking for a kit to repair this model of TV(Vizio VW26L), I highly recommend this kit. We didn't even need to use all of the capacitors. Great buy!
