I received a bad product
I have been using this product for many years. Either this is a defective oil or the quality of the product has dropped. Usually this oil is very light yellow. But in the bottle I received, the oil was rich yellow color. You can see the difference in color in the photo I attached.

Not at all like earlier oil
Something has changed. The oil is yellow, two shades darker than earlier orders. The scent it stronger than before. It appears not to have been washed of impurities. Will blend with distilled water to see what happens in settling, but I already know this oil is still full of mucilage. Very bad deterioration of quality. Distressing to see what was such a beautiful product made so sloppily. I cannot recommend paying extra until they return to the quality there charge requires. Bad change. Dissatisfied and very unhappy.

Quality that was n't
This is not the refined oil I requested. I ordered the pale oil.I got one that is not so refined. I make paint with this oil ,the fade quality is important. This oil will do,but I will use another brand next.(Gamblin Refined Linseed Oil)

My bottle was very yellow.
I used to really enjoy this brand of linseed oil, but the product now seems very yellow and not at all like before. I returned mine.
