Works great. I had some difficulty programming my jt-6188 plus with chirp. I contacted the seller and they got back to me immediately. Support was very helpful. Problem ended up being on chirps side. Working great now.

Skip the PL-2303 based cable and get this FTDI based cable.It works great with the current Windows Driver. No BackDating and Failures with this one.

Did exactly what it was purchased for! Greatly facilitated the programming of my QYT KT-8900 using CHIRP software on the Windows 10 platform. No problem at all concerning ports, drivers, etc. Hooked it up and was immediately in business ...

Cable appears to be a quality product. Worked like a charm first time with chirp and a new kt-8900d. Second time, chirp says it wont recognize the radio or something similar. Not sure the issue... not hugely computer savvy, and havent spent much time on it yet.
