The battery though
I love how bright this flashlight is. The only bad part is that the battery has stopped holding charge. I purchased it in April 2023 so over a year isn't bad tbh just sucks that I have to buy a new battery. I will still give it a 5 star rating because it is built with very good quality material. I have dropped it a couple times because I'm clumsy sometimes lol but it still works perfect.

Its bright but NOT the advertised lumens
It is bright in a narrow beam king of way. It probably is worth the thirty some bucks but definitely does not cast 100,000 lumen of the $600.00 flashlight or anything close to that. It more likely is 10 to 15 thousand lumen if that. But that is not saying is it is not bright because...it is bright. Just not the over hyped mega-bright the makers claim.I would advise getting extra batteries. (26650 batteries available on Amazon) And if you have a charger for the older smaller 18650 batteries then these larger (fatter) 26650 batteries do fit and can be charged on your 18650 battery charger as well. How do I know? I do it all the time.Or just buy a bare 4 place 18650 charger and save some money. And if you are as bright as this flashlight...they you may just decide to purchase it. LOLI did and no regrets...

Is What It Is
I will say this light is bright enough to do what you need to use it for. Appears to be built with goodsolid craftmanship and functions as stated. At this time I cannot comment on the lasting of thebattery after a full charge. I haven't had the light long enough, it took about 4 hours for a fullcharge the day I received it. I cannot advise you on the durability either. I'm just giving you a truthful, honest review on facts and what I have seen. However, after I have had this light long enough tocomment on those aspects, I will. As of right now, I would buy it again...

A little tutorial - in case you buy this flashlight
I think I will like this flashlight. I got it for the new car we just bought. The device is bright (more on this later), it's a nice size (see first pic), and it has a nice heft. The "User Manual" is a skosh limited (pics 2-3), ... that's it! Nothing about how to assemble the flashlight."Assemble" you say? Yep. As it arrived the item installed in the barrel of the flashlight was the upper item in Pic 4. Since I only looked at the end of it, I assumed that was the battery -- and the the black/blue think was a spare. So I charged it overnight and ... no light at all.So I removed the upper item from the barrel completely, to discover that it's a carrier for three AAAs. Then, based solely on intuition (NOT the "User Manual") I removed that piece, slid the Lylting Brand thingie in instead, and hooked up the USB cable again. Voilà! A green pilot light on the switch, followed by red, which later turned to green (I think that's the sequence). And now the flashlight is charged up and in the car. And the result is a bright light, with two step-down brightness settings, followed by the inevitable flashing sequence (who decided we need THAT -- in every LED flashlight!!). And finally -- S-O-S, ... as in Morse code: dit-dit-dit dah-dah-dah dit-dit-dit. Wow!! Five settings to scroll through with the On-Button!The cover for the USB ports (Yes, two of them -- you can apparently use the battery as a phone recharger?) is a bit flimsy. Treat it with care. Finally, having just received it, I can't speak to longevity. Based on reviews, some have had spectacularly bad experiences in that regard. Hopefully not me. The "User Manual" promises a two year warranty of "a 100% satisfactory answer." Whatever that might mean. No contact info! I'll update this review if needed.Oh, on the brightness, I wish someone at Amazon would police the advertised brightness claims on these things! The Lumens claims on most of them are simple absurdities! It's bright enough for my needs.

Possibly the brightest flashlight I have ever used
When I saw the claim of 100,000 lumens on this flashlight I was skeptical and checked the return warranty because I was expecting to send this back but needed to see how it actually performedI am happy to announce I will not be returning this flashlight as it quite possibly is the brightest flashlight I have ever usedthe only bad thing on this flashlight that I can say is the lens flares out and is a little heavy and I really wish that maybe it was more of a straight cylinder flashlight shape but it's not and they didn't advertise it as such so that is so minute compared to the performance of this flashlight that I really hate to even bring it upwhen you plug it in like a USB and charge this thing up it doesn't take long before you have full charge and I'm going to make a statement where I am claiming this flashlight, at full charge at the highest power beam, I think we'll reach out two city blocks

Usable for a short time!
While it is bright. I was only able to charge this a few times and then it no longer held a charge. Now, once it turns green after it has charged (the button is red during charging then turns green when finished), when you turn it on, almost immediately it shuts off. You can get a short amount of life from it when it is turned all the way to it's weakest setting, but this was a massive waste of money. 0 out of 5 stars.

Very bright but not user friendly
The light is bright as advertised. However, it is a little weird to use.Let me start with the "User Manual" it is one small page and does not address charging or the fact that the battery is wrapped in plastic and must be unwrapped to begin charging. It further states, "If you have any problems with the flashlight, you may contact us at any time and we will give you a 100% satisfactory answer." There is no contact information anywhere on the paper or the box. When you go to use it you never know if you are touching the charging port or the on switch, there are opposites on the barrel. There are five light modes, but to turn it off you have to cycle through whatever modes may be remaining . I have another light with 3 modes and once you select a mode, then the next step is off. For the price, I'm not sure I will keep it. Don't know about battery life, I haven't used it enough.
