I placed the new printhead in to my Lexmark Prevail Pro705 and moved the ink cartridges into that printhead. As soon as I did that, I got a warning that the product might have to be cleaned. So I printed a short document and it printed fine. But when I tried to print other documents, all I got were blank pages. So I used the Maintenance feature to perform a deep cleaning of the printhead, but that didn't work either.After I deep cleaning, I chose to Align Printer function, and the result was a page that did not print well, as the colors from were too light. Then I tried printing the same document, but the printer only printed blank pages. So now I have to go through the hassle of returning this piece of junk. Why can't companies make products that do what they promise?

My printer had gotten to where it wouldn't print magenta. I cleaned the old print head, and a plastic coating was worn through. Then the printer software declared that the printer was not going to print anything anymore.The new printhead dropped right into place, and now I have full print capability restored, for less money and hassle than replacing the printer and getting used to a different type of ink cartridges.So, the product as received performed as desired.

Seems to be working ok. It just took a long time to get it.

All the text comes out fuzzy, the letters are not crisp. After I received the item I got a notice from Amazon indicating I received a product that was defective and never heard back.

Restored overall functionality of my old Lexmark all in one which I primarily use as a scanner - BUT it won't scan while there is a problem showing for the printhead! - so a reasonable solution to my catch 22.

I wrote to this seller before buying, and he told me that I should order this printhead for my printer. For one print, it printed a page of black and white just fine. When I tried to print color, it covers the pages with gray and black rectangles. I thought maybe my previous printhead broke the color cartridges, so I opened a whole new set of color cartridges only to find out that the problem is this crappy printhead. A few more attempts to print, and I can't even print black and white text.

It solved the problem for less than a new printer

Never worked. 2 sets thrown in the garbage bin. Printer was discontinued, no genuine parts from manufacturer. Thrown the printer in the garbage bin too. Money well wasted!
