Works well
I use it mostly for removing dowel pins out of motorcycle and atv engines. This tool actually gets them out without damaging the pin

Good tool.. could be cheaper.
Excellent.. removed the timing chain dowels from my mustang engine. Could be cheaper for what it is though...

Comes up short
Seems to be solid enough, but only grips about 1/4" of the dowel. If your dowels are tapered on the ends (my clutch pressure plate dowels), it doesn't work at all.

The answer to a lifelong problem.
Great idea and quality tool. For years I have been ruining dowel pins trying to remove them. This tool works great and already has saved me a ton of money and time.
