Takes practice if you're used to spring type.
I like that the wand spins to keep the cord from twisting and curly up. You may want to use a heat protective glove until you get the hang of using it because there is no cool tip at the end. My hair type is thick and coarse and this iron curls it with ease.

Stopped working after about two months.Sorry to say I didn’t save the box.Very disappointed.
