Plus One From This Guy
The guys at Epiphan recommended this item for me when I needed to interface my DVI2USB3 frame grabber to my computer monitor. From my demonstration computer, the video goes to the splitter, and from there, is sent to the monitor and to the Epiphan unit. That lets me have real-time display in addition to the signal coming into my Mac, where I record. Signal quality is beautiful. Occasionally I have a connection problem requiring a reboot of my Mac, but I doubt that's related to the splitter. Be aware this thing has a blazing blue LED on it, so have a piece of electrician's tape handy if that bothers you.
