Original Arch Light Blocking Fabric Shade, White, 72" x 36"

It is not the wooden plantation treatment I would like, but it works for now, perfect for a bedroomRead and think through the instructions and you will get it ! I got the 72 inches cut just 1 inch to make it fit BUT if I know that you can fold the edges a little bit around the arch you will completely cover all the light.

Tip of the day: Measure your window first and make sure the the height is exactly 1/2 of the width. I had a difference of 1.375 inches and had to trim the shade after I cut it. Unfolding the shade to get it to fit into the window, enough to mark where I needed to trim it, was an exercise in patience that I ran out of that in a hurry.It is not light blocking; it is light filtering. This is in a sewing room that is also used as a guest room so I will need to figure something out when guests stay the night. If it was for a regularly used bedroom, I would opt for fabric covered poster board or cardboard or add window film behind the arch shade it to help darken the room. It's not a bad product but it is a bit fiddly.

First off, probably not the seller's fault but the packaging arrived in a complete mess, with the plastic middle piece broken. Not catastrophic, glued it back together and while it doesn't look great, it did the job.As for the actual product, it was easy to cut and install however I was really frustrated with the center arch. I just couldn't get the pleats to evenly distribute, as you can see in the last photo. It's supposed to be an adjustable, one-size-fits-all product so I understand it might be the fault of uneven cutting on my end.All in all, little bit of a hassle but satisfied.

Hard to cut into the perfect arc. Pricey for flimsy shades.

We like it. Its almost a perfect fit. But I feel like the light still comes through a lot. This could have been thicker
