A $50 Zagg version is available at my Verizon store and I said, "Yikes!". So I was sceptical that it was possible to receive the same quality item for one-fifth of retail. Wrong! This is more than comparable it's identical! It comes in high-quality packaging with bilingual (Mandarin-English) instructions and tools you need to adhere correctly (see photo).I need (and love) the large screen (because I'm over 45) of the "Plus" iPhone model but often hate how many times I've caught someone looking at screen accidentally-on-purpose. With this privacy screen, only the user looking directly at the screen is able to actually see the screen. To any on-lookers outside a 10 degree angle in either direction, it would appear that the user is just looking or typing on a pitch black screen.

Works well to obscure your phone from others. Installation could have been easier if the screen protector came affixed to the installation tabs but was still easily managed. The screen protector does not come mounted to the installation tabs you must take the included mounting tabs, which is essentially a strip of tape longer and wider than the screen protector, and stick the screen protector to it. At that point you can mount it to the phone. Not as elegant a mounting solution as other brands but it gets the job done.With this screen protector installed the phone becomes difficult to view outdoors in bright sunlight even with the screen brightness turned all the way up. I also have to turn up the brightness of my phone in all situations to overcome the darkening effect of the screen protector which in turn leads to shorter battery life. But that is to be expected with this type of screen protector.Overall the quality and fit is good especially for the price point.

This screen protector does NOT provide 360 degree privacy. It provides great privacy from the sides, but top and bottom privacy is non-existent. I'm still looking for one of these privacy screen protectors that actually has privacy at all angles, not just the sides.In regard to the fit, I had this on my iPhone 7 Plus and the fit was decent but not great. On both sides, there are obvious gaps from where the screen protector ends and where there is still part of the iPhone screen that isn't covered. If the screen protector was 1-3 mm wider, it would probably fit just fine. The top and bottom fit was good.Thankfully, I never dropped my phone hard enough to test how protective this product is, but I did notice that it started to chip around where the home button is after about a month of use. I'm very aware of where my phone is at all times and I'm not careless with it, so I'm still trying to figure out how this started happening.One other thing to be aware of with this product is that even looking at your screen head-on, your screen will still be significantly dimmed than if you had a normal clear protector. I didn't dock any stars on this review because of this since that's just the reality of having a privacy screen protector. Once I put a normal clear protector back on my phone, I was able to turn the brightness down on my screen and it helped save some battery because my brightness wasn't at 100% all the time.I kept this product on my phone for about a month before switching to a clear screen protector.Update: the company reached out to me and offered me either a product replacement or a full refund.

It's built solid and 9H hardness for sure protection and peace of mind.One thing that I did not think would occur was the dimming down of the screens' brightness. Due to the material and the nature of the product, visibility of the brightness level will diminish significantly. This caused me to have to increase my brightness levels and die down my battery. Not only that, during outside usage the screen was almost unusable.Other than that one huge caveat, I love the screen protector. The company took extra steps to create a way of application that was easy and accurately. CHECK IT OUT!

This thing is also tinted, which reduces screen brightness considerably. I bought it as a replacement for one that did not make the screen considerably darker thinking it would be similar. I like to upload photos across social media and having something that distorts the actual brightness levels is not ideal. Would not have purchased if it had been noted that this product does that. I also turned my brightness down all the way to get a sense for how dark it was and could not see a single thing on my screen, which is not the case for a standard iPhone screen without anything applied to it.

I’ve had this product for two and a half weeks. I had dropped my phone on my bed and it bounced onto the frame that lays under my mattress... only to pick my phone up and find that the screen protector cracked. (I have carpet as well.) The privacy screen is great which what I bought it for, it’s appreciated. But it was such a low impact drop that I became really upset at how poor quality it is.

I had a privacy screen on my previous iPhone and it was the best investment ever. I particularly like this one due to its thickness. It is almost more "private" then the first one I ever purchased. It take a bit to get used to but once you do, you'll never go back. I often have people make comments, well you could see better if you turned your phone on... LOL little do they know. A few people have even asked where I got it. I receive sensitive information on my phone and travel for business, this prevents peeping eyes while traveling.

If you're going to advertise something, please be honest. I got this screen protector because it is the only glass screen protector that had fingerprint proof in the description. FALSE.Also, it's annoying to see a bright line on the sides. The thing doesn't even fit well even after a couple try's and precisely installing it, it still shows the light on the sides. Good screen protector just needs some adjustments. But overall, it was ok.
