Cabin Bright FLED/R18-192 LED Tube Replacement (15-18" 12 Volt Fluorescent)

I would definitely buy these again, actually I did!I bought one pair, installed them and was so impressed, that I bought more to convert the other 12V fluorescent lights in my RV.Very bright, no flickering, easy to install and wire up. Work Great!!

Fantastic light. I was skeptical if these could put out the same amount of light that our old fluorescent bulbs did. After the initial install I can honestly same these are as good if not BETTER light than our previous bulbs. And they use less power! We bought just ONE kit that contained 8 pads - and this single light can sufficiently light our entire RV!If you preview the light output before finishing the install, you may find that the light output may appear to be very directional (only putting out light directly under the fixture) but the key is to finish the install completely. Once I mounted it and installed the light cover, light output was MUCH better and projected on the sides instead of just below the fixture.Also, the instructions did not cover what to do if the fixture itself has a switch. I think most lights use a wall mounted switch, but mine had one built into an end cap. It was super easy to do though. There should be one red wire that connects from the ceiling wire and leads into the switch. The switch will then have another red wire that leads into the circuit board / ballast. Simply cut the wire half way from the switch to the circuit board, then splice your red wire from the LEDS into the 2 inch cut wire that leads out from the switch. Super easy to do. And the support offered from Cabin Bright was exceptional!In my opinion, there is no need to ever use a conventional bulb ever again. All manufactures should offer these as standard equipment.

Ordered 2 sets but one was damaged in shipping, no issues with easy return for replacement. Installed the undamaged set and super easy and simple, while I did remove the ballast because I am going all LED you can install these leaving it in. I am going to see how these are at night but so far great value.

These LEDs really transformed they lighting in my RV. I replaced the flouro tubes with these LED strips. The light is instant on, bright and modern. The lower power drain, brighter light and longer life gives this protect great value.Installation is not hard. I had some issues that I could not figure out so I called Joe (hee sells these lights and stands by them to the point he includes his cell number in the instructions). Joe was great and worked me thru the problem with friendliness and patience.I recommend this product. I will be getting more.

The installation was easy and straight forward. Works great and is brighter than the flo lamps it replaced. Two minor downsides...the price ($55.00) is higher than I think it should be, and the wiring harness is visible through the lens when the lamp is lit.

There is nothing I dislike about these lights. Very easy to install and if your worried about not getting it wired correctly Don't Worry. I just followed the simple instructions and if the light didn't come on when the wife hit the switch i just reversed the wires and done. Wife is so excited about the ones in the kitchen, I'm her hero for a day LOL. One negative was the way Amazon ships them in a bubble wrap envelope without a fragile warning or do not bend. Needless to say someone in transit bent a set and ruined them, other two sets arrived perfect. Amazon is making the return very easy at no cost to me and should be sending another set so i can finish the job asap. Fingers crossed they do not get abused in transit. Bottom Line you will LOVE these lights. Have a great day.

We bought these to replace the flourescent bulbs in our RV. Not only do they use less energy and produce less heat, they also are brighter than the flourescent bulbs we had! Installation instructions were very clear and made it easy for me (no electrical experience). My only complaint is the light looks like it has an almost greenish tinge to me, but that may just be my eyes/maybe my other lights are red tinged and it’s tricking me. It’s hardly noticeable though, and I replaced every flourescent tube in our place with these- no regrets!!!

Fifteen minutes before our telephone conversation, I had written to the Amazon site, stating a simple problem with one of the Cabin Bright 12 volt LED Fluorescent Tube Replacements.I included my telephone number. Before I could close my computer I received a telephone call from the owner of the company. ON SUNDAY MORNING FOLKS!!! Joe knows how to get and keep happy customers.
