They work. Im not sure if their up to code. The screws aren't color coded and neither are the connection terminals, so test them 1st (which you probly should anyway) and be careful. Also difficult to get a low gauge wire around, but you can do it. Its just not as simple as some of the higher priced ones ive used. They might be up to code I don't know, I doubt it though. Id buy them again, but only because im tight wad.

These aren't trash, they just take a TLC to get then going. They are not high end connectors that have all the bases covered. It's going to take an extra moments to get things lined up, one of my ten had an over tightened terminal screw and of the five cords I fixed I didn't have any WTF moments. For one tenth the price of a known quality piece I'll do the extra minute of brain power and use these. For currents over 14A (these rated for 15A) or in a regulated environment use a high end connector. Or buy another cord, about the same price..

Throwing these away. I went cheap as I have a business where employees keep breaking ground plugs off. Thought this would save money since I have to replace plugs I have already fixed. Tines don't fit in outlets, screws pull out of cover and strain relief does not hold.

my mother always told me "you get what you pay for" and this is one of those cases. The wire connection are very cheap and hard to use. they may be fine for a small gauge wire (solid wire would be best) but if you are using stranded wire in 12 to 14, it cant be wrapped around the screw well and does not hold well when you do get it wrapped around. I tried to use a spade connector but there is not enough room inside the black rubber boot for the connectors, and when I tried to plug the male into the female they didn't plug in well. the bottom line is they are just a bad quality product. I am thinking these will just go in the trash and I will it off to a bad choice.

Thought these would be better than the cheap plastic ones from big box stores, however they are not. A good strong tug and you can pull the connections right off the cable. Although, it's not worth it for me to ship them back so we will continue to use them until they're gone.

Like the man said ..these are terrible ...got one to work ....just ordered the LEVITON replacements threw these away ...LEVITON average $3.00....my time is worth at least the $1.50 difference...

Cord clamp needs to be more robust..
