Great toothpaste
Love the flavor! Love the feel for a flouride free toothpaste. Good value, you going to pay a little more but it's worth it. Size is the same as normal toothpaste amount. Gives you clean teeth but doesn't help massively with breath. Don't give up your mouth wash.

Best clean ingredient product!
This is the best toothpaste! My teeth were less sensitive by the third use. Works at removing stains, leaving them white. You can guarantee it will heal any cavity or decay you have going on with regular use.

I think I've found my regular toothpaste, finally
I've been using non-fluoridated toothpastes for years but only recently heard about how glycerin can interfere with remineralization, so I wanted to find a good toothpaste without it. That's surprisingly hard to do, even at Whole Paycheck. I did use a certain really popular bentonite-based toothpaste for a while, but the weaselly excuses I kept hearing about the possible lead content of the clay discouraged me. Plus, getting clay in your toothpaste bristles isn't the most fun thing. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found this toothpaste, which is supposed to remineralize but isn't clay-based and has no glycerin.I cannot honestly say yet whether this toothpaste by itself is helping with remineralization. I'm also supplementing with fat-soluble vitamins D3 and K2 and a good multimineral, which I'm sure is playing a role and it's not possible for me to figure out which is doing more. But I figure extra insurance can't hurt. For those coming straight from a mainstream toothpaste like Crest: This will not be bitingly minty or sickeningly sweet like what you've known in the past, and it takes some getting used to. Unlike the popular clay toothpaste, it does lather up, which I really like (I know this is a psychological thing). It's stickier than Crest or any of those other mainstream pastes, so if someone in your household is messy with their tube and you're OCD about yours, you might not want to share your tube with them. You will have a gooey lid in no time.I'm also not sure how this affects my breath but that's not why I brush my teeth. People with breath problems should pay attention to their diets and maybe consider using a non-alcoholic mouthwash. You could also brush your tongue right when you finish with your teeth--I do that, and I don't seem to repel people much. Just don't expect this toothpaste to be your cure-all if you've got halitosis. But the taste is pleasant, and if you're coming from an alternative toothpaste like Tom's of Maine it's mild like that. And it definitely gets my teeth clean. If I were more careful about how I eat I could see myself getting to a place where the dentist barely needs to scrape my teeth at all during visits. I'll see if I can experiment and make that happen this year.I could wish for a slightly lower price, but if I get to keep my teeth for longer, it's worth it.

Follow the directions & stick with it!
So for the first week, I was not following the full directions to not rinse, brush, swish around in your mouth for a few minutes and spit. Then, not rinse out or immediately eat or drink anything. I saw some improvement, but it was minor. After the first week or so, I was doing the full routine--Mouth wash, spit, brush teeth 2 minutes gently, swish 5-10 (min since I am healing a lot of erosion), spit, no eating/drinking right after. Now, I try to wait 30 min to an hour afterwards, when possible.I am about 38 days in today. At 2 weeks, I could tell my teeth were definitely less sensitive and whiter. The whitening part is really a cherry on top, for me. I got the toothpaste for the enamel restoration from acid erosion (GERD) and to lessen the sensitivity when eating hot, cold or super sugary foods (cookies, ice cream, cake etc). I am pleased to report I am also now visually seeing the glossiness and smoothness on my front teeth most strikingly, but even on all my teeth! Even the backs, the inside my mouth close to the tongue, are smoother to the feel and stains even the dentist struggled to remove. My dentist advised that food particles get stuck inside the indents from erosion so it is incredibly difficult to clean. Those stains are coming off, as the teeth remineralize! This Pearlie toothpaste is amazing--Studies I read advise you should use for 3-4 months to see improvement. While perhaps I had fast results because, I had a lot of damage & swished for 5 to 10 min, I am impressed. I will continue to use and restore my enamel! Ordering more! I hope to need less swish time, as my teeth heal and am confident that in time, my teeth will show as healed in a future dentist X-ray check up.

Happy with my purchase and will be getting again, worth the money and research.
To preface, I researched active remineralizing toothpaste (ART) and saw the data on hydroxyapatite shows no statistically significant difference between fluoridated toothpaste in terms of benefit to the strength or health of teeth. They are the same no better or worse at dental outcomes and preventing dental caries. I discussed this with my dentist who had limited information, as the US does not utilize (ART). The main difference is fluoridated toothpaste remineralizes passively meaning it needs acid environments in the mouth caused by drinks and food to be most beneficial, while Hydroxyappetite is (active) in that it is always active in remineralizing without need for an acidic catalyst/environment. So in short fluoridated toothpaste is better for people who are exposed to acidic drink/foods and sugary drinks which is quite common here in the U.S. I avoid all soda and most acidic beverages so my reasoning is that an active remineralizing toothpaste would be of more benefit to me and my lifestyle. I have been using this toothpaste for the last 3 months. I have to say I have seen a marked improvement in the color of my teeth, decreased dry mouth and potentially bad breath associated with constant dry mouth. My teeth also seem to have extra layer of protection, not sure how to describe it was I am not a dentist but my teeth seem smoother than normal. This product also has a taste that takes a few days to get used too, but taste fine with respect to other toothpastes I have tried in the past. I will be buying ART in the future, although I may have to look for a way to source it a little bit cheaper as it is on the expensive side.
