I definitely prefer this style of claw because the different shape/angle makes it easier to control and they stay cool while working with meat hot off the grill. The one piece style doesn't have seams, hollow spots or rough surfaces where little chunks of meat can get stuck which makes them super easy to clean.I've been grilling big chunks of meat like roasts, pork butts, beer can chickens, etc. for years and these claws have removed my doubt about claws being better than a fork and knife to shred meat. Plus, you can easily and securely carry the biggest chunks of meat when you stab right into it with these claws. This is definitely the best CLAW design for handling meat. I used it to move a very large ham to a cutting board; also used it to hold the hot meat steady while slicing. Amazing! Used the Grillinators for handling, slicing, and deboning a turkey as well. What a difference this made for meat handling. Also works incredibly great to shred pulled pork. This is the best claw style on the market. Great innovation!

The Grillnator Pulled Port Shredder Claws are a great tool not only for shredding pork, but also works great as a way to get that hot chunk of meat off the grill when it is done cooking. The claws are extremely pointy and the edges are quite sharp for being plastic. You need to store it more like a knife as caution is needed when handling. A must have for those who use the smoker and grill frequently!!

I bought two sets – one for my husband and one for his best friend. They both like them quite a bit. They work well for both shredding, and lifting roasts. They are one solid piece and easy to clean. There are no open holes, nooks, or crannies for food to get stuck in (like some of the the other kinds available) Highly recommended.

OK so I had no idea that I needed these in my life until I found them on sale and finally used them on pulled pork.A task that I generally dread due to the temp of the meat and overall time it normally takes.With these grillinator claws you tear through the pork like a hot knife through butter. I didn't know what I was missing all these years!! But them you will not regret it!!

They are really handy for grabbing a hot roast out of the crock pot. They are great for holding a hot roast in place for slicing or for shredding a roast for pulled pork. They are light weight and seem to be very strong. I love them and know I'll get a lot of use out of them. They would obviously be a wicked self defense tool as well. Thanks for a great product!
