Outward Hound Granby Splash Yellow Dog Life Jacket, XS

We have two lovely Lhaso Apsos and recently decided to install a pool. Since our pups have never swum before, we were unsure of what to expect. We decided to invest in the Outward Hound Granby Splash Dog Life Jacket for them, and we were thrilled with the results. The fit is simply perfect, and the added floating pad under the jaw ensures that their noses stay comfortably above the water.The quality of this life jacket is truly outstanding, and the convenient handle on top will be incredibly useful for our kayaking adventures. We can easily maneuver them back into the kayak after they've had their fun in the lake. The vibrant colors and the hassle-free buckles/velcro make putting the life jacket on and taking it off an absolute breeze.I cannot recommend the Outward Hound Granby Splash Dog Life Jacket, enough. It's a fantastic investment for any dog owner who wants to ensure their pets' safety and comfort during water activities.

"Dawson" model swim jacket is my fav and my 2 dogs. My small dogs hates wearing anything and she always happily puts this on, and she's not even much of water lover but this is comfortable based on my observation of it's construction and my little ones behavior.I think this is a good vest for beginners or not strong swimmers, and also active swimmers since the style has no material around front legs so it allows for more comfortable range of motion as well.CON = getting the right fit.I had to size down for both my dog's measurements vs the size chart so maybe others need to also.My smaller dog is a solid 17" rib cage girth (all her clothes and harnesses are for 17") and I re-measured her when I ordered this but she fits in XS for this product with the straps almost as short as they go. Odd as XS says the biggest girth is 15" yet the S was still too loose by a couple inches with all straps as short as possible.Likewise my other dog actually fits a M, yet size chart indicated she'd be a L but it was far too big.PROS = *This life vest has excellent boyancy but is not bulky.*It is easy to adjust the straps and then just take off and on by the 3 clips.*It is very secure under the belly and for the chin/chest when it is the right fit for your dogs body type.And the front under chin material is not obnoxiously bulky like other models.*No Velcro! which my dogs hate the sound of and velcro sucks with sand and hair obviously.*The quick grab handle runs vertical with the spine which doesn't create much water resistance as others that have a strap across body left to right.*No chaffing around front legs because there is no material or extra sand to rub near the armpits because of the open front style that doesn't go down & under the center chest and between the front legs.Pics of size XS in yellow and M in red.

This is a great lifejacket and the price is ridiculously low, I thought it was a hoax.I have a 50 pound Australian Shepherd and a 90 pound Rottweiler and the large actually fits both of them! It was meant for my aussie so the large fits her perfectly and is pretty snug on my Rottie but it does still fit him.The jacket is very sturdy, it floats great (my aussie can stop swimming and it completely holds her up wonderfully), the handles on the top are great for adding extra support or directing a swimming dog in the direction you want them to go. My aussie is terrified of water that she can't stand in (she loves water as long as she can still stand up) and this has definitely helped her be much more comfortable in the water once she finally realizes it will hold her up. I unfortunately didn't get any pictures or videos when she was using it in deep water, but the pictures at least show you what it looks like on and how she doesn't care about it being on at all. Anyway, the stretchy material under the chest is just like wetsuit material, I was amazed at the quality of this whole jacket, especially for the amazing price it is listed at. Other jackets I was looking at didn't have near as many cool features and were all four to six times the cost of this one. The wetsuit material seems very comfortable and allows you to velcro the jacket pretty snug before clipping the straps. This also means that the whole weight of the dog is distributed evenly across a larger surface area rather than just two small, painful straps.The neck piece also holds up my aussies head great so she can be completely still with her head supported and the jacket will hold her up. She isn't thrilled about it being on for the first ten minutes but its relatively low profile and not bulky so after she starts playing, she completely forgets about it.Overall, it is an amazingly effective jacket, the quality is beyond expectations, and the price is absolutely unbeatable. I would still have bought this jacket for double the price if I would have known the quality.

I bought this for my Cane Corso XL great fit.glad I went with the xl his weight is 87.9 it fit well also on my husky and it adjust to smaller around neck area for her.Easy to put on them.This one doesn"t has the ring for leash connection,very sturdy to pick up your dog.would of gave five star if it had leash attachment.price was great

Ordered a medium, and it was perfect for my Frenchie Pug! She is 23 pounds of muscle. She not only looked cute in it, but it was also a great value for the price and worked well.

4lb yorkie with 12 inch girth. Bought the xs. Fits her pretty good. Little big in the back but nothing major. Sturdy and built good.
