In 2014, biologist Dr. Brian Hooker received a call from a Senior Scientist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who led the agency s 2004 study on the Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine and its link to autism. The scientist, Dr. William Thompson, confessed that the CDC had omitted crucial data in their final report that revealed a causal relationship between the MMR vaccine and autism. Over several months, Dr. Hooker records the phone calls made to him by Dr. Thompson who provides the confidential data destroyed by his colleagues at the CDC. Dr. Hooker enlists the help of Dr. Andrew Wakefield, the British gastroenterologist falsely accused of starting the anti-vax movement when he first reported in 1998 that the MMR vaccine may cause autism. Wakefield directs this documentary examining the evidence behind an appalling cover-up committed by the government agency charged with protecting the health of American citizens. Interviews with pharmaceutical insiders, doctors, politicians, and parents of vaccine-injured children reveal an alarming deception that has contributed to the skyrocketing increase of autism and potentially the most catastrophic epidemic of our lifetime. Beyond heartbreaking
I just watched this movie with my husband and I cried for almost half of it. My oldest son had a vaccine reaction and lost his speech at 12 months. He had 10 words by then and was perfectly healthy and normal. After that he also had hour and a half long tantrums, recurrent ear infections, sensory issues and the list goes on. I feel the pain and guilt these parents feel when you feel like you’ve failed your child, when your job is to protect them and love them. It is heartbreaking that doctors and government officials and pharmaceutical companies make parents feel like idiots as if we don’t know our own children. I spent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with my son. I know what happened to him and when. This film was so validating to me. I’m so thankful my kids have not had the MMR vaccine as I stopped all vaccinations after the reaction. However I just wish more people would listen to the parents out there who were clearly at one point pro vaccine. There is nothing to gain by sharing a vaccine injury story, all you hope is that someone else is spared the heartache and devastation of a vaccine injury in their own child.More needs to be done for vaccine safety and we as a country deserve better than what our government and the CDC has given us so far. Our children and our future depend on it.Unfortunately after watching this movie and realizing that the chasm between pro Vax and anti Vax is growing larger, there is prob no hope for us as not enough are willing to do their own research and fight for justice.

BE YOUR OWN D*MN ADVOCATE!
in a nutshell, we should all be realizing by now that the government really doesnt care about your health and wellbeing. Big Pharma doesnt care about about your health and well-being. why? because that would require honesty and transparency and there is no $$$ in HEALTH. okay, now to the documentary:For anyone who is an Enneagram fanatic, I am a 9 and I have a great ability to see things from many different perspectives. When I started researching vaccines, I wanted to come at it with an unbiased outlook. after weeks of digging and then stumbling upon this movie, I can most definitely sense shadiness regarding the debate on vaccines, the CDC, risks etc..I 100% without a shadow of a doubt think every parent needs to be an advocate who reads and understands all vaccine inserts and if an ingredient could be potentially harmful to their child (which how would know what a 6 week old is allergic to??). Although I am still researching for myself whether I will be vaccinating my future kids, I DO atleast agree that IF vaccines are given, it needs to be delayed and spaced out. there are NO long term case studies on the risks of vaccinating early nor is there data on the interactions and risks of cross-vaccinating with multiple vaccines at one time.this is a very informative documentary; definitely would say its worth the watch to gain some fresh perspective and help you on your journey to discovering what's best for your family. I am not pro-vaxx nor anti-vaxx. I am pro-informed choice and hope others can use multiple sources of information to be informed about their choices as well.

What we don't know CAN hurt us...that's why Vaxxed is important no matter where you stand on the topic of immunizations. As Vaxxed tells the story of Dr. William Thompson (a Senior Scientist working at the CDC), it begs for answers to tough questions concerning the safety and efficacy of vaccines. The information presented suggests the rabbit hole goes further, and while scrutinizing the evidence, we start to wonder if vaccines today are the perfect guise for corporate profiteering.

My older two children are vaccinated. I will not vaccinate my youngest, having done research looking at both sides of this debate. In order to make the most informed decisions regarding the health of our children we deserve ALL of the information. We are lied to about so much more than vaccines- food safety, pesticide safety, the efficacy of other medications, the safety of processed foods, etc. We have to do our own research and make our own decisions. Please be brave and be willing to stand apart from the pack and think for yourself, no matter what you decide to do in the end.

On par with flat-earth arguments, no real science.
This movie doesn't provide any real substantive argument on a connection between vaccinations and autism and skips back and forth between "arguments" at will. If you are looking for science on autism, this isn't the place to find it.

Misleading information throughout
The first hint that this movie is exceptionally biased is that it's directed by the man who started the anti-vaccine uproar and had his medical license revoked due to his faulty research. But even beyond that, the film is riddled with holes in their arguments as well as blatant misrepresentations of facts, for example, that vaccines are not tested together. They present no new research that supports their assertion that vaccines cause autism and conveniently neglect to discuss the multiple studies done by entities other than the CDC that have shown no link between vaccines and autism.
