Great Model
Incredible detail not found on other models. The price is reasonable considering the quality is superb.

Beautiful model, difficult build.
Got this when it was on sale for less than half the original price. Knew it was going to be difficult and it was, many small and easily broken parts. The fit of the tin and brass metal parts is terrible, requiring lots of sanding, drilling, filling with epoxy. And as others have said the instructions are inadequate, detailed for some sections and glossing over other areas. I downloaded lots of pictures of the Wright Flyer from the Smithsonian website and used those to guide probably half of the build.You'll need a good set of tools for working on small parts made of both wood and metal, and a lot of time, took me somewhere between 150 and 200 hours to complete the thing.

Terrible. Save your money.
Terrible. I have been building RC balsa planes for over 30 years. This is a very over priced model with what has to be the worst directions I have worked with. It does seem to have decent parts, but again directions are terrible. You would be much better off to throw away the directions and just dump all the parts on the table and start gluing.

extremely delicate
Parts on this model are EXTREMELY delicate. kept breaking parts and eventually gave up.I'm sure finished model is awesome but you really need delicate hands and humidity control to build it.

This is a wonderful kid but it’s for experienced modelers only
This model is a wonderful experience for expert model makers this is not for first timers for sure but it is fun and it will keep you busy for a long time and it’s very accurate as far as scale goes

nice wright brothers plane.
this kit is very accurate with pewter engine parts. Not for beginners. Just started to assemble.....will be a nice 30" model.

It took a Master Modeler, but...WOW
My father is 92 years old, and after all the models and RC pieces he has put together, this was a challenge. When completed it turned out to be one of the best detailed models I have seen him do. He was not happy building it but he changed his mind after finishing.

Crappy design
Unit is poor design,poor fit, components don't fit ,instructions are not accurate,overall a terrible model that doesn't fit together
