Helped with cellphone use
Used these in Japan when it was cold but I needed to be able to use my fingertips on my phone. They fit well, and I was surprised that the tightness of the glove relieves some hand pain. The grippy dots on the palm area help with grasping things. The fabric is soft and gray, and the length ends where the hand meets the wrist.

nice, comfy gloves, but a bit awkward for short fingers
i bought these gloves in the hopes of getting a bit of arthritis pain relief, and so far, they do seem to help some. i was slightly concerned about getting the right size, as I am quite close to a size change - was worried about the medium being too tight, but a large being too loose - i bought one pair of the medium to try.Received my order yesterday, and tried them on.. my worries about them being too tight were unfounded, the fit perfectly. just enough compression to help with mild swelling, but not so tight that they cut off circulation.wore them to bed (the package does say "...soft enough to sleep in" so figured why not). My hands were not nearly as puffy as they usually are in the mornings - big plus!I do, however, find the fingers to be a bit long & awkward for doing things, as i have short, stubby fingers.I use a trackball that is operated by the first & middle fingers at the computer, and the ends of the fingers make using it awkward - i have to roll back those two fingers to use it comfortably. The fingers of the gloves come all the way down nearly to the back edge of my nail beds - that is how short my fingers are, lol. The product image show the fingers ending just short of the first joint... not on me!Aside from the finger length, i find these gloves to be comfortable and helpful when my hands are aching.I will probably purchase an extra pair or two so I can have a pair to wear if/when I need to wash them.

The hood and the bad
The good, wow what immediate relief. The bad, a finger seem is already ripping after half day wearing them. :(

My fave, bought second pair
UPDATED REVIEW: i bought another pair without the grippies and the compression still helps :) i still wear the grippies at work all the time. I think these are my favorite pair of compression gloves so far. The fingers just fit my short & stubby fingers. I don't have to push the fabric down or anything. They just work! Also, i'm not sure how many months it's been, but the grippies are still on my work compression gloves. Adding some new photos, hoping that helps you :)ORIGINAL REVIEW: So I wore them all day at work today, and I really think they helped with my pain. The little grippies are still on and it was beneficial for my work (I'm a pharmacy technician). I liked them enough that I left them in my smock at work on purpose!!Regarding the little grippies, I was careful with my gloves today and I did not run my hand down my stair banister. We'll see how long the grippies last :) but I can imagine buying these again if needed.

Best gloves to keep your fingers protected and snug.
Injured pinky over 6 months ago. Bought these to keep finger stable. LOVE flexibility of glove, LOVE that it covers my pinky bending points to protect them. LOVE the rubber dots that allow a safe grip. The ONE star that I did not check is for 2 reasons: the area between thumb and index finger can be too tight; but this is not consistent in all pairs. I own more than one pair. Some pairs -- no issue, some pairs rubs against soft area of the thumb and creates soreness. The second reason the cloth (maybe my fault) can get discolored. I use these gloves everywhere; may have gone too far with use of some cleaning chemicals. BUT, that tells you the bottom line: I USE THEM 24/7 for months and change them to wash. They saved me from further hurting my pinky. I wholeheartedly recommend these gloves as THE BEST. I tried others.
