I have been impressed with this for the price and quality. It arrives in a whole carrying case, with a dedicated place for the included slides, as well as the other optical pieces. This makes it easy to safely store in between uses. My kids, from ages 4-10 are able to use it independently. Excellent addition to our home classroom!

this was just what i was looking for in a family microscope. easy to use, fairly simple to get clear images. My kids are 5 so they lost interest quickly on each slide but i believe they will use it more and more as they get older.

Would like things a little tighter. Eye pieces and such

It was good for the first use... BARELY. Then the bottom led light stopped working all together and the top one was dim. I thought maybe it was,just defective and asked for a replacement. Replacement came in two days. The replacement worked for 10 minutes then the same thing happened... the light stopped working. I am now returning both and getting a whole different manufacturer microscope. Don't waste your time or money.

It's easy to use. Great for children, first timers, college students and adults. The case makes it easy to take with you.

My daughter really enjoyed this. It comes with small samples and u can look at the slides.

This is what you call a good investment. I bought this for my young daughter who absolutely loves it. Me and her have spent many hours looking at different things. She was a newbie to this and so was i. It is not difficult to figure the microscope out at all. Just needs a tiny bit of practice. She managed to do it in a few minutes :) the microscope is sturdy. Worth every penny.

Good micro for starting

The microscope is ok, very hard to focus but possible. The light is very bright and dimming well. The phone attachment is completely useless - I tried 3 different phones - the weight of the phone defies the suction cups and the phone keeps falling out of the eye piece hole. The weight of then phone also tilts the podium away so getting a clear image is nearly impossible.

a good microscope for a persons first microscope it is well built and not like the cheaper plastic versions the instructions could be better no explanation in detail on what lens to use for different applications no instruction at all on the phone adapter you can work it out but would be better if given a bit more detail in the instructions other than that it is a good quality for the money , mine was bought as a christmas present for my grandson and hese very happy with this

I found this microscope surprisingly good for price paid. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great product at a reasonable price.
