Works like a champ

Skimmer plate was faulty, company wouldn’t provide replacement or refund because I was 7 days past 30 day return policy. Skimmer plate did not work as described. Submitted a previous review but was not “approved” because I talked about the seller too much. I feel customers should be aware whether a seller stands behind their faulty products or not.

Once installed I scooped out all water from the skimmer. I covered the skimmer top with plastic to prevent rain water from leaking in. Two weeks later I checked the skimmer and it was half full of water. I can only have seeped in from the plug. So it didn't work and was a waste of money.

While the model purchased appeared to have properly sealed after inserting, after 2 weeks water was seen in the skimmer area. After 5 weeks it appears no water is now being held back as the skimmer area has water at the same level as the rest of the pool.

Have to push in it’s tight like it’s suppose to be. Works great, don’t trim to fit like other people have done because it will fail. You have to push and work foam in.

just slid this into the pools skimmer mouth and it sealed itvery easy to use unlike another product I used in the past

These skimmer plugs did not work at all. They seemed to fit into the opening well, but within 5 minutes of placement, the empty skimmers were full. I could see a stream of water running in from all around. I took them out and used a sealant around the edge of the foam like the instructions said and it worked a little better. It only took 10 minutes for the skimmer to fill up. I have to say, that this was a total waste of time and money. It is a good idea in theory, but there is no way that this is going to last the whole winter. The product is a pvc plate with foam adheared to the back.
