what is the height from base to mic? i will buy if the height 10inches/250mm +

it's flexible, so if kept vertically then height from base is more than 10 inches

Does it work with Windows 7?

It does work flawlessly with all Windows OS, dating back to Windows XP: Simply plug it in and it will be recognized by the Operating System. You may adjust the input volume inside the app of choice or from Windows' Sound Settings (Control Panel → Sound → Recording tab) The microphone has a hardware "mute" button on its base, please check the status of the LED when you want your PC to capture your voice! As a side note, Windows 7 OS is not officially supported by Microsoft anymore and there may be other reasons to switch to another OS or a more recent version of Windows. The KLIM Talk microphone is just not one of these! Will the in-built speakers of laptop work when this device is plugged in?

You can use our Talk mic all the while the speakers of the laptop are working, you should be just fine. Simply make sure that the mic is not too close to the speakers, as it could cause a feedback effect. I hope this will help you make your choice and wish you a great day! The KLIM Team
