I love ceramic knives for chopping vegetables because they never seem to dull like metal knives. I thought the same benefit would be experienced with a ceramic razor. However metal razors can bend to get into areas that require some flexibility to the skin. These ceramic blades have no give whatsoever and you have to press down really hard to get a close shave, which is nearly impossible. You feel like you are going to peel off your skin like a potato. Good idea, bad performance.

Very good razor, blades don't dull
I have been using this razor for several weeks now, and am pleased with it. It has not dulled, despite regular use on my very coarse facial hair. It doesn't matter that this is marketed to women, it works well for men too.The two small things that keep it from being perfect are 1: the ceramic blades aren't as sharp as fresh metal blades, but they are sharp enough. 2: something about the construction of the razor (likely angle of the blades) makes it difficult to get a super close shave without making several passes over the same patch. It shaves well enough, but if you like baby smooth, then you will spend a lot of time with this razor.

Uncomfortable and unacceptable results
I was very excited to try this product due my allergies to nickel. Unfortunately, when I tried it out today it felt like I was dragging the hairs off of my legs. The shave was not comparable to a regular razor and it was uncomfortable. I adjusted the pressure I was applying, shaving creams, soaps, etc., and in the end I gave up. Save your money and your skin this is not the answer to nickel free shaving.

Saved me from my metal allergies... I can actually shave again!
This is a game changer. I’m severely allergic to a lot of metals, and if I try and shave my bikini area, it literally burns. The first time shaving again (4 years after my last attempt when I gave up on metal razors for the bikini area) was a little tricky, also just getting used to a ceramic razor. It took a couple rounds to get it where I wanted it, but it worked. In the winter, my legs get so dry the skin breaks and I can’t use a regular razor, so the hair just grows and it’s super uncomfortable. Looking forward to not having to deal with that this coming winter. Yes, it pulls a little more than metal razors, but for those who a metal razor isn’t an option, this thing works pretty nice. Would recommend for those with sensitive skin or metal allergies. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

No irritation or razor burn like you'd get with a normal razor
I tried this product because of how much I prefer ceramic knives to steel ones. For this razor, you do have to press a bit harder than you might be used to, but it works very well! No irritation or razor burn like you'd get with a normal razor, and I haven't had any issues with ingrown hairs. The only con is that the larger shape makes it a little awkward at some angles and it takes a little getting used to. All told, I've found it works great under arms, on bikini lines, and on your face.

It doesn’t work!!
Great as far as the hypoallergenic, however no sharpness what so ever. You literally have to push the razor so hard against your skin to cut and time consuming. Not convenient at all! Great concept but it’s a fail for me! I do not recommended

Not bad. Not as good as I expected.

Wait for the next gen this is not worth buying!
It is not a regular razor. Compared to gilette even the mach3 is way better, even the old school single blade is ....I think it is a worthy trial to make a ceramic razor but they have to put more effort into it.I give them 5 points for the idea but 0 for the rest.
