Durability and Warmth for Young Explorers: Arctix Kids Snow Pants Review
As a parent gearing up for the winter season, I recently purchased the Arctix Kids Snow Pants with Reinforced Knees for my child, and I am extremely pleased with the quality and durability of these snow pants. Designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor winter activities, these pants provide excellent protection and warmth for children exploring snowy adventures. The reinforced knees on the Arctix Kids Snow Pants are a standout feature, offering extra durability and protection in high-wear areas where kids often kneel or sit in the snow. This added reinforcement ensures that the pants hold up well to rough play and extended use, making them a practical choice for active youngsters.I appreciate the adjustable waist and boot gaiters with grippers, which allow for a customized fit and help to keep snow and cold air out, keeping my child comfortable and warm during outdoor play. The pants also feature convenient pockets for storing essentials like gloves or small toys, adding to their functionality. One of the key benefits of these snow pants is their water and wind-resistant construction, which keeps my child dry and protected from the elements. The thermalock insulation provides excellent warmth without adding bulk, allowing my child to move freely and comfortably while staying cozy in cold weather.Overall, the Arctix Kids Snow Pants with Reinforced Knees have exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, functionality, and performance. I highly recommend these snow pants to parents looking for durable, warm, and well-designed outerwear for their children during the winter months.

Warm, Adjustable Fit
We haven't had much of a chance to really test these out yet -- we're going to have to do a snow dance! -- I'm impressed with these snow pants so far. They are heavy and warm, and the material and overall craftsmanship seem like it will hold up for multiple seasons.I bought several sizes larger than my son needs in hopes of getting a few seasons out of them and they turned out to be HUGE on him! Fortunately, there are Velcro tabs at the waist that allow you to adjust the size as well as belt loops if that isn't enough. (We have the tabs snugged down as tight as they will go in these photos!)For sizing reference: my son is 60 inches tall and weighs around 94 lbs. He is tall and slim and very athletic. The snow pants in the photos are size XL and are huge, even with the Velcro tabs at the waist tightened as far as they will go. Although they're quite large right now, at the rate this kid is growing they'll be just right by next year!

Great snow pants.
I bought these for my brother to use just for playing in the snow and such and they are great. They look great and could go with anything. My brother has been outside in these in the wet slushy snow and sometimes the water would seep through around the knee area. They have one of those pull over things that you can pull over the boot to prevent snow from getting in which was great and worked perfectly. They kept him warm when it was 10 degrees and below. They were not bulky and they were super light. The zipper never once broke or had any issues. Sadly my brother has grown tremendously and he has grown out of them since. Overall they are great snow pants and I would definitely recommend.

Seem to be good quality and well made
Giving 4 stars only because we haven’t hit the slopes yet so not the pants fault that we truly haven’t tested them. Bought these for my 16 yr old daughter for our upcoming ski trip. Fight her great but not over sized at all. If you want plenty of room I recommend jumping up a size. Height is 5’1” waist is 26 inches and hips 34 and bought a large in red. She can squat and move but she is also used to the jegging type jeans that stretch and fit tighter. Large is not quite as tight as jegging jeans as she can move squat, bend over and touch her toes with no problems. If you don’t like snug fitting bottoms jump up a size. We also purchased the xl as a second pair in lime green ( to compare sizes being a mom) and she has plentyyyyy of room in them. Thank goodness for belt loops and Velcro straps. She has to pull the Velcro waist straps as far in as she can on xl and still has some room. Plenty long on both pair. Large will be perfect with snow boots. Xl is a bit longer and drag a bit more but not to much to return as they will be fine once the snow boots are on. Seems to be great quality and she is not worried at all about getting cold as they seem to be well lined and warm. The extra padding on the rear end and knees are going to be a big plus, I think, once she hits the slopes and falls and scrawl for her skis.. lol. Excited to test them out on the slopes. Hope this helps.

sizing and quality
First, let me say that these snow pants are top quality. They are made well, heavy and although we haven't used them yet they seem to be completely waterproof. Definitely worth the price. The sizing, however, is a different story. I must have read at least 10 reviews that said they are "true to size" or "on the larger side" - NOT TRUE. My granddaughter wears between an 8 and a 10/12 depending on the manufacturer and article of clothing. So - based on the reviews I ordered her a regular medium which based on the sizing chart is a size 12/14. I thought they would be a bit large but they were so small she couldn't even fasten the waist. I returned them and ordered a large size 14/16. They are a bit bigger on the waist and are a little too long but otherwise fit fine and will accomplish what we need. In my opinion, these run small. These other people must have tiny children.

Perfect Snow Pants for an Active Winter!
These snow pants have been absolutely amazing for my son! He wore them all winter for skiing and playing in the snow, and they held up perfectly, warm, durable, and completely waterproof. They kept him dry and comfortable even after hours of outdoor fun, and the quality is fantastic with no rips or wear despite heavy use.
