Was Very Excited and equally Disappointed :(
I had great hope for this and was really excited to see the $266 price. However, the headset is not very comfortable and very finicky to keep precisely positioned to view the screens. The sound was awesome, but the video quality and comfort was a deal breaker. I am really disappointed as I wanted to fly my Spark with this, but would not be able to do it confidently due to the fit and comfort issue.

Refurblished item died quickly. Don't buy if you have a large head or picky picture quality tastes.
First up let me mention this was a refurbished item. I had been saving for it when the price shot up $100 so I grabbed a used one before the price increase hit those. That unit died on the second day and I'm in the process of returning it but I'll review it based on my experiences of the first day.As a user I'm pretty much a worst base scenario. I have a large head. Can't quite buy a hat in a normal shop large. And I wear glasses. Still, while it required a slow insertion process I could get the headset on. The on the head support strap was a different matter. No way that was close to fitting me. However it was so snug it wasn't needed. The snugness caused some pressure, through my glasses, to the bridge of my nose but it was not unbearable. I did fidget with it occasionally while viewing to relieve this though.I'm not a good judge of sound quality but I was exceedingly happy with the sound. The picture was fuzzier than I would have liked. And the darker scenes were particularly difficult for it. I probably could have fixed that via the Windows display settings but it crapped out before I got the chance.I had it set up as a third monitor on Windows 10. There were some weirdnesses with transition from three screens back to two when you turn the goggle's power off and difficulty with the taskbar flipping out but I am going to blame both of those on Windows.Overall, at $168 I would have been moderately content and kept it. At $299, it would have gone back even if it had not died. Even still I think I'm glad it forced my hand.Oh, and setup was extremely easy. The only difficulty was finding the power adapter socket. It was hiding in plain site out on the cable while I was looking all over the headset. This step is not shown in the online user's guide nor in any of the pictures. Other than that and a figuring a couple workarounds to tame Windows it was a much easier setup than I expected.

Nope. Not worth what you're paying for.
Yuck. I bought these because all the reviews said they were fantastic. I even saw YouTube videos of people saying these were fantastic. I put them on today, got them all hooked up and installed, and they turned out to be, well, "not-so-fantastic." The picture quality is abysmal. Granted, there is no screen door effect like we see on the Oculus or Vive, but there is absolutely no way these things are HD.The lenses you view the screen through are not 100% transparent. I'd compare the effect to putting on glasses that haven't been properly wiped with a microfiber cloth. It's got almost a hazy, fuzzy, smudged look to it. But that isn't nearly the worst part. The quality of the screens themselves is like watching a video in 480p on YouTube. Very disappointing indeed. The picture had a bit too much contrast and saturation. It didn't feel like a natural TV or monitor. They make it seem like the picture will be gigantic, "A 150" TV from 10 feet away!" More like a 12" monitor from 2 feet away. It didn't feel big or immersive at all. The audio was unimpressive as well, and I'm not even that picky when it comes to audio (I have a set of AKGs ~$100 range). It wasn't crisp like it should have been for a set this expensive. The bass was there, though, like all the reviews said. But who wants omnipresent bass when the highs are muddy? The head tracking was good, and the 3D worked. That's about all the good I can say about this set, and the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I returned it, though. Not worth $500. At all. I would say $100 would be pushing it for a device of this quality. The same effect could be achieved with an iPhone Plus, Google Cardboard, and a cheap pair of noise-cancelling headphones. Sad day.

This is great if you are seeing the entire image in a gaming level that the hmd is suppose to do and the screen is closer than any hmd in this field.

A good set at a very good price.
I got this unit so I could watch TV in bed and not disturb my wife while she sleeps. While the picture quality is not quite what I expected from this set it is fairly good and quite acceptable. Will use this seller again.

Ne marche pas
Le casque ne s'allume pas, qu'il soit en charge ou non. Le PC ne le détecte pas. Une LED violette reste allumée, seul signe de vie.

don't waste your money like I did
Uncomfortable, does not work with steam, does not show 3d movies in 3d and only just about works as a second display ... get one of the Windows MR heatsets instead ..... don't waste your money like I did .....
