They looks pretty normal, not cheaply made… they sound normal to me, used them on a full size old Violin from 1964. They do sound really loud… the old strings had not been changed in years, so maybe that was the problem… They sound pretty good though and at this price, quite OK

I'm the most novice beginner there ever was, and I break a lot of strings when I'm tightening them. These come at a great price. This is my second pack, and I've finally learned how to tighten my strings correctly. They fit and play well, and have a nice, clear sound. I'm no expert, but these work perfectly for me!

Pretty solid value for the price. Though one of them did break the first day, so that was a bit alarming. Hopefully the rest hold up, glad they included so many else i would've had to make another purchase!

Came within 3 days for me. The sound is very good and the string is very sturdy. I was scared that they was gonna snap quickly once i start putting them on. And tuning it but they did not so that really good. And i like it came with extra string only down fall about it they gave more A and E string then they did D and G string. Overall, I like the strings and would recommend. Just as replacement strings though.

You get a lot of strings for the money with this set - two complete sets, each set with an additional A and E string. Oh wait. Isn’t there a saying, something like you get what you pay for? In this case, it’s not so much the quality (they‘re what I expected, and what I wanted), it’s what strings are included in the packages, at least in the ones I received. All four of the strings placed in the ‘E string’ envelopes are actually A strings, so that means in this set you get eight A strings and no E strings. However, they still work as E strings if you want to use them that way. Fortunately I have a set of four extra E strings from a previous and different purchase, so I’ll probably use those.

Perfect for a student violin, affordable, too. Love that this set has the extras- I expect some broken strings in the future.. very happy! Would purchase them.again!

Got em fairly quick, as promised. They're bulk crappy strings but when you got no money and a broken string and you wanna play the violin, whatever. If you have a tendency to break your strings because you're a student or you're just terrible at the violin, get these. You can break em all day long because it doesn't cost anything to replace them pretty much.

My son is practicing on a violin at school this year and after spending a lot on the rental, we didn't want to spend a whole lot on strings. The rental shop was asking for way too much. I did take a chance on them but it looks to be working really well. I'm glad I took a chance on them and not paid for the overpriced strings at the music shop.
