Verily, I embarked upon the purchase of these wondrous garage door openers, with a singular intent: to be freed from the lamentable chore of fumbling amidst the murky shadows, striving to locate the elusive button that would part the grand portal to my humble abode. And lo, these buttons did, in earnest, furnish a solution to this plight!Upon the pressing of each button, a most gratifying "click" resounded with sweet satisfaction, like the harmonious notes of a celestial lyre, and thus, the affliction of seeking the entranceway was laid to rest. Such a boon did these openers prove to be, quelling the vexation that once ensnared me in the darkest hours of the night.In truth, their installation proved to be as seamless as a gentle stream flowing through the meadows, with their wiring and affixation to the wall presenting little resistance to my endeavors. The mysteries of their workings were quickly unraveled, and I rejoiced in their simplicity, which spared me from grappling with undue complexities.Furthermore, the allure of this acquisition was enhanced manifold, for these marvels of ingenuity were made available at an economical price point, commending themselves not only to the discerning eye but also to the prudent heart. Truly, a bounteous blessing, as my purse was not unduly burdened, yet the benefits they bestowed were immeasurable.In conclusion, I stand resolute in my declaration of contentment, for these garage door openers have proven themselves to be a most auspicious addition to my domicile. The days of groping in the gloom have passed, replaced by the ease and efficacy of these wondrous contrivances, which have brought harmony and light to my nightly homecomings. The media could not be loaded. First: be sure the power is turned off before you attempt this installation! Our garage door button was wearing out and needed to be replaced. The wiring is straight forward: red wire goes to red wire screw on the back of this switch, and the white wire to the white wire screw. But my old switch was shorter and the screw holes didn’t align (see video and picture attached to this review). So I used one of the existing screw holes and drilled a pilot hole for a new screw hole to align with this new switch. I ended up using the existing screws which were shorter than the ones that came with the new switch. I also had to bring the wires that attached to the new switch down a little bit given the size differences (I just removed a staple that had anchored the existing wiring which gave me a couple more inches to work with). I love that it glows in the dark making it so much easier to find in darkness. The button has a solid feel to it and it works perfectly. Worth every penny.

Easy to install, work perfectly, visible in interior daylight. Take my advice and predrill the mounting screws, I didn't and promptly stripped them.

This switch works very well on my garage door. The installation is super easy, just nail on the wires and mount the switch on the wall.

This meets my needs. I installed it as a garage opening button and it worked perfectly. I would like a latching NC switch to use along side to prevent the garage door from opening.

Lit up but the garage door wouldn't work with it, even though we'd used something similar in the past.
