Q: Received my bed today. instructions say to unfasten hook to put tube through. there is no hook and no opening to put tube through. help! thanks

Just received our 26" Snuggery orthopedic foam (sherpa and suede blue) dog bed today. The tube for the hood is removed through the opening on the bottom lower left of the hood where the tube ends and where there is a velcro flap. Open the flap, slide the tube out by feeding it down to the left from its channel sewn in the front edge of the hood. It goes back in through that same velcro covered port. Much easier than the hidden slit for the tube in our two Cozy Caves when we remove the tubes to wash the covers that we unzip from the cushion in side the base.

Q: How does this hold up to dogs that have to dig a spot to sleep in. My mini dachshund is notorious for doing that. She has ruined a pair of bed sheets

Well it is fabric so eventually it will rip if your doggo is digging a lot. My dogs dig and bite it and have made some tears but still holding up. Legit though this bed rocks it’s comfy, cozy, soft fabric, and perfect sized. I just pups highly recommend it. 100%. If you want something dog proof probably get like a carhart dog bed but it won’t be as cute and cozy. Even still I think this a good dog bed for any dog!!

Q: I have an almost 50lb pitbull, bulldog, boxer princess... Would she fit comortable with the 35" bed?

I think a 44 inch is better for your breed. Give some slack for growth. My boxer american bull dog at age 3 grew 10 lbs in last year. At 70 lbs fits 44 inch perfect.

Q: Would the 35" fit a 50 lbs bulldog?

Yes, it would! My 50-60 pound boxer/lab/collie/etc. mix and my 40-pound Dalmatian fits inside completely. One day both dogs in there together. It was a tight fit and Dotty fit on the bottom pad, but the top didn't cover her completely.
