Small and easy to install
ISSELEC Security Camera Wireless Wifi CameraThis is quite a dinky little camera which will install easily if you are pushed for space, or don't wish to have a camera that is too noticeable. The camera is supplied with 2 different types of wall mounting, a screw on mounting or magnetic. The camera is cylindrical in shape which measures just 10cm in length. It is made from what appears to be good quality white plastic. There is a small microphone just below the camera lens along with a speaker on the underside, you can communicate with anyone within the cameras range. The front face of the camera houses the 1080p lens along with motion sensor. This is powered by a pair of rechargeable batteries which are not installed on arrival, you need to remove the protective film and install the batteries yourself. This has a micro USB port on top of the camera where the batteries can be charged, but no cable is provided for this purpose. Once the batteries are fully charged you should get 3 - 6 months use before they will need topping up again. There are 2 different mounting options available, both base plates screw into your chosen spot. One baseplate allows the camera to be screwed onto it providing a more permanent fixture. Or if you wish, the camera can be held in place by a very strong magnet.Once installed you need to download the 'Smart Life' app to your phone which you use to access the camera. You also need to connect the camera to your home wi-fi. Once installed you can access the camera via the app, this will enable you to see what the camera sees, you can also communicate with anyone within range. This is a very handy feature if you are away from home as it gives the appearance that you are home.Sadly I was unable to fully test this as my camera was missing the micro SD card that needs to be inserted into it. According to the User Guide this does provide a 1080p image along with day and night vision, plus motion detection. This not only can be mounted in a porch covering visitors to your door. It can also be used in a child's bedroom to keep an eye on them to ensure they are bed, or monitor a baby to make sure they are sleeping or need your attention.CONTENTS:1 x Security Camera1 x Wall Mount1 x Magnetic Mount2 x Lithium-ion Batteries1 x User GuideThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Decent all weather ipcam
My first impression of the camera is pretty solid and heavy. The housing is hold together via strong magnets and it is lockable. It comes with a couple of brackets, one handy half-sphere magnetic base and on screwed on bracket. Physical installation of the camera was easy. However, the connection to the app seems temperamental. It won't flash in red lights no matter how many times I pressed or holding the reset button. I have installed many ipcams and this is one of the most temperamental one. I got there at the end when it finally decided to read the QR code. The app that is recommended in the instruction is Smartlife, but I found it looks and works almost identical to TuyaSmart, since I have many devices on TuyaSmart I tried to use that app instead and it works fine. There are not a lot you can do with the app, as it seems it is a generic app rather than a bespoke one for this camera. There are basic functions like setting the PIR sensitivity, flip screen, turning notification on/off and two-way talk. There are no functions like choosing length of record when triggered, turning night mode off or showing a list of motion triggered items. The recording starts when motion is detected. It seems to be accurately capturing all the human motions on medium sensitivity, but the length of the videos of each detection seems to be random. The playback is all done by swiping action of a time bar through out the chosen day, there is no list of detections to choose from. The battery seems pretty good, it is still showing 100% after a few days, but then I only had triggered a couple of recordings, so it seems the standby mode is rather low in battery consumption. The signal isn't great since it doesnt have an antenna. I placed the camera a wall from the router which is about 6m away and the signal has dropped to 42%. It still works fine but takes awhile to load up each time .Overall, this camera does the job as a door camera as it can do two way talk and weatherproof. But considering the high the price with only basic essential functions, I think there is better cheaper cameras out there that can do the same job.
