RoomMates RMK9052WP Blue Distressed Wood Peel and Stick Wallpaper

**This has now been up since April, and we have had no issues, no problems with it. It hasn’t started to peel anywhere. I had no prior experience with any type of wallpaper, let alone peel and stick. It’s holding up beautifully.**So far I love this product! It was easy to install, and very forgiving to reposition. I did 99% of my kitchen/living room walls by myself.I did overlap the wallpaper, allowing for potential shrinkage or pulling away that was mentioned by other reviewers. So hopefully I won’t have that problem.Seems to be sticking very well, haven’t noticed any areas pulling away, or unrolling in the corners. I did pull the trim off of some spots, just because I wanted the paper to go under it, to prevent it from shrinking, by doors and windows, so in some of the pics, you can see that.I also used peel and stick wallpaper on my kitchen cabinet faces, and used a spray adhesive to adhere them over the heavily waxed chalk paint. So far no issues there with peeling, or wrinkles from the adhesive.Total for the project I used 9 rolls of the blue distressed wood with some left over, which is perfect if I ever need to “patch” a spot. The pattern is pretty forgiving that if I need to, I doubt it would be noticed.Will update if anything changes.

This is awesome to install, so easy to reposition and doesn't lose its adhesion if you need to pull it up and stick it back down. Standing three feet away, it looks like real wood. Up close, though, since it has no texture it is pretty obvious it's just contact paper. Still beautiful though. We rent, and our upper cabinets were starting to look pretty beat up. This is a wonderful solution! Gave our cabinets a whole new look! Not sure I would use this as a long term cabinet wrap, we will only be here for another two years and then this product will be removed anyway.The only downside to this product is the lack of a grid on the backing. Still easy enough to measure and cut, but a grid would have made installation even more timely. There is an expected plastic-y odor when you open the packaging and unroll the product, but the odor goes away very quickly.I would highly recommend this product--would look even more beautiful on a wall! I do not believe this product would remove paint when taken down, though I have not yet experienced how the adhesive will react once it has been stuck to a surface for any real length of time.UPDATE: It's been well over a year since we put this product on our cabinets and it has held up beautifully! We wrapped out lower cabinets as well (drawer faces and cabinet doors), and through all the opening and closing and expected abuse, at no point as the adhesive lost its integrity. Still sticking firmly and not fraying were there is frequent friction. We did scrub down the all the faces of the cabinets as well as left the roll out to acclimate for about 2 days before trying to install--which may be why we had didn't have the same shrinkage or lack of sticky-ness issues as some other reviewers claimed. Changed the rating from 4 stars to a solid 5.

I purchased one roll with the hopes that the peel and stick wallpaper would cover our unsightly master bath counter top. The cabinets were all white laminate and the previous homeowners had allowed water to badly damage the counter top around the sink. After doing a lot of research, I decided on this wallpaper and it worked like a dream. In fact, I decided to do all the cabinet insets and it looks phenomenal and I still have 1/3 of a roll left. Since I'm using it in the bathroom, I applied two coats of Mod Podge to add texture, depth and act as a sealer.I would absolutely buy this product again. You can remove it over and over until you get it right and it continues to stick. The pattern is utterly forgiving, particularly if you need to slit air bubbles (which you will unless you're Martha Stewart). The paper has a very matte, non-textured finish, so if you want more of a wallpaper or textured barnwood look vs. flat Contact Paper look, I'd go with a couple coats of Matte Mod Podge (let the first coat completely dry before applying the second). If you do add a sealant, you may not be able to remove the wallpaper later, so if you're using it on walls or furniture that aren't yours, you'd probably want to skip that step. Thought I would test and see if he held up when the camper was closed up for a couple of weeks in the hot summer sun. It stayed put beautifully. So I ordered more to finish off the makeover.It was easy to cut, easy to manage and reposition. On a couple of occasions, it stuck to itself. I could pull it apart and it was still perfectly usable, the wrinkles/folds smoothed away when I put it on the walls. Pattern easy to match and forgiving, so there was very little waste. Places, where the walls weren't square, it wasn't noticeable that I needed to put some tiny pieces to cover the existing wall.Price is good here on Amazon. Other places carry it locally but it was $10 or more higher in price per roll. Plan on using it again on other projects.

I really wish the rolls were larger for the price. However it's gorgeous and very easy to use.
