All around excellent!Item is perfect for cross stitch, embroidery, or other needle work. It has tons of pockets for organizing things and is tall enough to roll or fold large works in progress. The fact that it's fully loaded with most everything you need makes it well worth the price.The only drawback is the scissors and thimble are awful, but as a veteran stitcher I put in my own.

I just got back into counted cross-stitch. I needed some type of bag to put my projects in, because they are portable and can be worked on away from home, etc. This bag is not only beautiful-it seems to be very well made. It also comes with many extras: wood embroidery hoops of several sizes, some little notions like scissors, needle threaders, some carboard bobbins to put floss on-PLUS a large pack of multiple colors of embroidery floss. I was very excited to get this, and would consider it as a gift for others who are into hand embroidery!
