I purchased these to add some additional power cables to my PC, and while these do work, the materials seem to be somewhat cheap. When I installed these, some of connectors seemed to be very tight, and the pins seemed somewhat loose inside the connector. Some of the pins pushed out the back when I plugged them into a device, and when trying to remove the connector to fix this, they were very tight, and didn't want to come back off.For the price, these will do the trick, but I wish I had purchased a higher quality product.

These are adapters, they are intended to alter the power supply outputs to suit a different set of gadgets needing power input. With so many possible options today, from motherboards to power supplies to attached devices, it's inevitable that you';; maybe run out of SATA power connectors but an empty Molex is hanging there with nothing to use it. Bam...this power the SATA device and the Molex is connected.One of these is working on the 'puter I am typing this on.

Without using the cables yet, this review is strictly on craftsmanship. Molex connectors are usually thick with low gauge wires. The plastic is very thin and the cables are around a size smaller of standard gauge. The SATA connectors are of, or near, normal spec. I'm not certain I would run 2 drives off these splitters but they look as if they may with a lower carrying drive combo. All in all, these cables serve my purpose of adding 2 connector changes on an older PS. Worth the purchase if you have a set expectation.

I needed another SATA power connector but only had MOLEX available off my PSU. These adapters fixed that issue. Good value for the money. The one I installed is working well so far (about a month)10/26 Update: Some of the pins are not perfectly aligned when plugging the MOLEX in, you may need to wiggle the wires to make the internal pin line up properly. Not removing any stars, price is right for the product.

its a bit off from pints and size so its a bit to tight and 1 didnt light up i had to force it in there still works but not 5/5 so 4/5 but good product would buy again if needed

I was moving a motherboard to a new case.Had SATA power cables that didn't reach all of the drives, and a ton of left over Molex cables.These fixed that problem.I only needed one...now I have extras...and these were still the most affordable on Amazon.

There are four in the box... The photo only shows 3, but there are 4 in the package! The fourth is inside my media box powering my drives!I needed to hook-up a couple of SATA drives in my media server and needed to convert the old standard molex ends to power my snazzy drives. These arrived in 36 hours in a nice little box and just worked when I plugged them in. These are totally a good deal.
