Weinmann/Shimano ZAC19 Rear Wheel 26" x 1.5 Black

Being an economical senior--I know, "OK Boomer"--I was looking for a wheel to replace the twisted tortured mass of twisted metal that was on the bike. I did no measuring and took a flyer the thing would fit. It did. So if you're wondering the bike world standardized on the axel width some time ago.The thing took a while to get here--again see "cheap boomer"--because I stuck with the free delivery.Bottom line it is very sturdy and true, both side to side and circle wise. Spokes are substantial. The axel was real Shimano. So nice.If you are listening out there, I was looking for one that already had an 11-32 tooth cassette installed already. Didn't see that option anywhere so purchased one separately. Along with a new chain I now have a shiny new drive train.

Well constructed wheel. The rim is straight and centered. No noticeable wobble. The hub is Shimano which uses cup and cone bearings unlike other manufacturers which uses cassette bearings. Hub turns very smoothly. The spokes are thicker than what I have used in the past. This makes the wheel a little heavier than what I replaced but much stronger. The weight without skewer and cassett is 38 oz.

I have ridden this wheel a couple of times now, and it seems to be a decent quality replacement wheel. The seller's description is sketchy, so I decided to post a little more information:1) The rim is drilled for a schrader valve.2) The spokes are silver-tone, not black.3) The wheel has 32 spokes, not 36.4) The hub does not have any obvious rubber seals.

I like the fine craftsmanship+Durability of this wheel..Quiet clicker in the freewheel.This set goes for just under 200.oo locally.Ill feel I got a bargain on this set of wheels.Great product,great buy.

Needed this to repair a co-workers bike which saw no maintenance so it was not worth repairing the cheap wheel. Shimano hub spun nicely and the wheel was true. Only wish rim strips were included or noted to not be included.

These replaced my original wheels. Same rim and spokes and an upgraded hub. Work great.
