Foxin F111 Aluminum Lightweight Camera Tripods with Rocker Arm Ball Head and Carry Case for Canon Nikon Sony SLR Camera

This seems like a well-made, sturdy, but very light tripod, mostly made out of aluminum but with some plastic. But even though it didn't take a rocket engineer to put together, I always like any mechanical product I purchase to have at least a basic instruction manual and/or diagram and which states warranty info. In this case, you get ZIP, NADA, NOTHING.. Since I am just an amateur photographer, it would have beennice to have such literature included advising you of camera weight limitations, overall dimensions and any other little operational "tricks".There wasn't even a basic diagram or anything on the outside of the box...very unusual as far as I'm concerned and makes you wonder how "professional" this unit really is. Even with instructions, I have often found them quite confusing and just plain useless, especially if they are produced in China or other Asian countries.One other thing that I have been continually irritated about when reviewing product information at Amazon is that someone is not doing a very good job with the actual product specs. Many times the LxWxD specs are way off and instead of the actual product dimensions, you are getting the dimensions of the shipping package instead...quite useless. Someone needs to get on the ball and review this stuff before it gets advertised.

The legs are slightly less sturdy than I had wanted nd the pan head is stiff making it more difficult to follow a moving person but otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

Sturdy design and easy to setup. I wish the case was just a little bit bigger to make putting it away a bit easier though.

For the price this is far more than I expected. Last year I bought a tripod for my action camera that was around the same price and while it worked it had issues. This thing is much better made and much sturdier for my application

I probably should have gotten a heavier duty tripod for my 80 mm spotting scope. This one vibrates in the breeze. It is probably OK for very light duty work, but it seems overmatched by any significant weight.

Easy to use, really strong.

Work great and good for the low price.
