I was installing these on my 2001 Toyota Tundra SR5. I was gonna use the factory coils, but the factory coils are quikstruts, so the coils are alot smaller, they don't seat onto the bilstein. So I'd check your factory coil before taking the old one off and trying to transfer. But the Bilsteins are great shocks

Strut slip ring that holds the coil broke when my mechanic was installing. I reached out to Shock Surplus, and they kept telling me that they would have to get in touch with Bilstein to perform a warranty claim on the item. This continued for some time and eventually, they just quit returning my messages and now i'm left with the broken strut in my garage and I'm out the money spent.
