Easy to put up and take down.

I own the 6 person and like it so much I now have the 2 person as well. Both are identical except size. There are smaller & lighter options but not if you want a 4 season tent. It does well in summer but I camp more in WA winter which means in the rain. I liked the 6 person so much I got the 2 person exact same except size. I can stand up in 6 person but 2 person is half the size and weight so it's my backpack goto. I have 5 other tents that have no issues but these Basecamps have me so impressed I haven't used anything else in years, I loan them out so they get used but if I needed to own 1 good tent Basecamp would be it hands down. Does everything you want without issue. Do I wish the 2 person was smaller in my pack? Sure but I won't trade it for a smaller/lighter option as you don't realize 4 season tent is so much better than 3 season until you try this tent. No water no condensation drips in morning. I set it up in a small puddle of a stream once as it was only flat area available. I don't recommend it but water stayed outside. I can't give it enough stars. Heck I bought 2 says all you need to know.

I bought this tent in anticipation for a scout camping trip with my 10 year old in Indiana in November. Upon receiving the tent I set it up in our basement. It is very roomy and made of quality materials. I feel it will definitely keep us warm in the below freezing nights.

This tent was purchased for a horse pack trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness. This was a week long trip to the Chinese Wall. I set the tent up five times-we had two days at one campsite. It was very easy for one person to set up and take down the tent. I am a 70 year old lady, so you know that it must be easy!There was about 3 hours of rain one evening where I completely closed up the tent and the ventilation with the tent closed was adequate. It was just me using the tent. I can not say how it would have been with two people-except to say that it would be crowded. This is a very nice 1 person tent. I am pleased with the purchase.It would be nice if the company would include a footprint for the tent. I used a 5x7 tarp under the tent. This worked fine.

Love it. My brother and I went out over New Years to give this guy a try (we usually have another friend or two tagging along thus why I finally bought a 4 man) and we loved it. Light enough it didn't make a difference when packed and an absolute monster when we popped it open. Temp only dropped into the high 20s as we stayed below the tree lines but by the time we climbed in we were freezing, that sure didn't last long! We hadn't even gotten into our bags and were still arraigning our packs and gear when we realized how much warmer it was. By the time we sealed ourselves up in our mummy bags we were toasty and had more room than we needed... Seriously though I think this thing is bigger than my college dorm room

This is a truly excellent tent! I purchased it for a winter backpacking trip in the snow. Unfortunately even though there was a foot of snow on the ground, we were rained on the whole weekend. The tent was bone dry and stayed as warm as you could expect for 30ish degree weather. I particularly like ease of setup and the way the rain fly covers the whole tent all the way to the ground. I also like that it has doors on both ends, very handy. The quality is top notch. This is not a cheaply constructed tent. I'm confident it will last a long time. If you are willing to spend the extra money for this over much cheaper options, you will not be disappointed.

Great tent! Extremely easy to setup. From start to finish it took no more than 10 minutes to setup. The doors on both sides is a plus. Allowed us to deal with wind protection without having to move the tent. Highly recommend this product.

Great quality! Great for snow and low temperatures. Very easy to set up.
