Beware the dye bottles lol
I bought this as a bonding activity for my mother and I and she was so happy. She loved doing it and it was really fun for us both. It brings everything you need to do this for the first time and everything is nicely packaged and presented in a very cute way. There are however, a few cons to this that you should keep in mind. I’ll list both.Pros:-Brings everything you need and has a nice variety-simple instructions (you really can’t mess it up)-Sturdy box (You can store the supplies in there for a future session)-brings quite a bit of soap; you can make at least 1 1/2 batch of filling all the molds to the top and get a bar out of each-molds are cute and have quite nice designs that show up really well on the soap after theyre done (make sure not to take out the soap while still warm!! The design will get ruined)Cons:- The soap already kind of has a strong-ish scent so maybe put in extra of the scent you actually want so you can overpower the original one. It’s not unpleasant by any means, if anything its quite nice, but just something to note.- Soap cools down and hardens SO fast; unless you have a soap warmer right next to you or a microwave LITERALLY right next to you, don’t count on it staying liquid for very long. We had to get up about every 10 seconds to reheat the soap in the microwave and by the time I made it back to the molds the top layer of the melted soap had already started solidifying and making a film which would obviously ruin the pouring of the soap. It was quite annoying but we did really enjoy the experience so we’re planning on just buying a soap melter and having it next to us while working on them next time.-Think about where you want to put the flowers first! They don’t really warn you in the instructions so I’m telling you here. DO NOT put the flowers EMBEDDED in the soap unless you want it to turn really ugly as you use it. Only put the flowers on the very last layer so they wash off soon after using the soap. We thought it would be cute to embed them IN the soap as we were pouring and once we started using the soap the flowers started giving off a gross yellow color and turned super mushy with use. It obviously doesn’t *ruin* the soaps ability or purpose per se, but it does turn them quite ugly and if you’re planning on gifting them afterwards I’d advise you stay clear of the flowers; ESPECIALLY the roses. They’re too large to properly “waste” away as you use the soap and kind of just turn into an ugly brown mush ball in the middle of your soap.- Careful pouring in the colors and scents! When trying to put in the drops of color into the soap, two of the droplet caps completely came off and the entire bottle of dye poured out into the bowl. All we did was shake it a couple times to get a few drops and the cap slipped off like nothing. Maybe try taking off the cap entirely before pouring and just use a dropper or something similar because the dye WILL stain your hands for a little while and if it gets on anything it will stain the fabric. We didn’t have this problem with the scents but i’d still advise to be weary of it.*Overall* it is a really great bundle and a nice starting point if you want to get into the hobby of melt and pour soap making. Just be aware of those little things so you’re experience can be more enjoyable. We just took it in stride and thought these things were funny accidents when it happened, but I can see someone getting upset because of these things so I’d rather put it out there.

Fun Melt and Pour Soap Kit
This melt and pour kit is not only fun to use but easy as well. The fragrances smell nice. Different colors to mix and create with. These are my first batch and they smelled amazing.

Great starter
Love that this made getting started so easy and I ended up falling into a rabbit hole of soap making since than..Pros: great starter kit, brings really everything you may need to get started. Easy to use.Cons: the colorant is sketchy. Do NOT try dripping it into the soap, the plug will come out and your “pink” soaps will become red! Also, while the dried flowers are aestheticallyy pleasing, they do start to smell strange and get slimy…

Excellent Starter Kit for Learners
I wanted to learn how to make Melt and Pour soaps, and this kit did the trick to get me started. The instructions were very clear and I feel, after making 8 "learner" bars of soap, that I understand how to do this and can move on to buying the base and various additives myself. The shea butter base is very nice soap, although it comes with enough fragrance that you really don't have to add extra (but I added a lot of Lavender to the base so that my Lavender bars did smell of Lavender). I like how the silicone molds have a pattern on the bottom that transfers to the soap bar. The only con: I had the same problem as another reviewer: the cap flew off one of the dyes (green) while I was tapping into the soap mix. I made two really green monster bars! I took the caps entirely off the fragrance and dribbled it in. So, overall, a good kit!

Soap has a colored foam
Things I liked:1. The soap mold is beautiful and it's easy to use.2. The soap block is nice and easy to cut and melt3. The kit has a nice selection of essential oils (instead of lesser quality fragrance oils)4. A nice selection of three types of flowers is provided.Things I disliked:1. One dye bottle was dry and another leaked despite these bottles being tightly wrapped and sealed2. There was no container to melt and mix the soap in3. When using the soap in the shower, the foam is not white but takes on the color of the dye used. It may me wonder if the company provided food-based dyes rather than cosmetic-based dyes.4. Finally, The soap wrapping has the company's logo making less than ideal to use in gifts.Given the high price of the kit, these are things that could be easily improved.
