This is my daughter’s favorite birthday present! It’s great if you have limited space because you can easily fold it up and put it away. Both my 4 year old and one year old can fit in it. For balls for the pit, make sure you buy good quality anti crush ones. I bought mine on Etsy from HappyBasia. You can pick the colors, they are very high quality, and they are larger than the cheap ball put balls out there. There are 300 balls in the picture for reference!

This ball pit was so reasonably priced, I almost didn’t buy it because I thought there’s no way this is gonna be a quality item. Then I read a couple reviews and I was like well, I’m gonna try it - particularly because it was under 20 bucks.This adorable little ball pit is exactly the right size for our almost 10-month old grandson and it has plenty of room for him to grow. He could probably use this until he’s like 3+! I love that it’s collapsible so the parents can throw all the balls into a giant bag & fold it up & put it away if necessary.I originally bought 100 balls to see how many we would need total. Once we saw how few 100 balls really was we bought an additional 200 (be sure to read reviews, so you don’t get balls that crush easily we bought the sturdier balls, so he can throw himself into the ball pit or sit on them, and not crush them). So the picture you’re looking at is 300 balls total.Needless to say, he absolutely loves this. The smiles are nonstop and he gets on sensory overload when he gets in there - enamored with having control over so many little balls.The sides of this thing collapse, so he can get in and out on his own fairly easily (of course, he’s an expert crawler, so that helps).In my opinion, this is about as well-made as it can be for what it is (a cute collapsible ball pit). And it is absolutely the right size for a crawler to an older toddler.Buy this! I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

This ball pen was perfect for my 6 month old. I bought it for her as soon as she could sit up and she LOVES it. It is the perfect size and could easily hold another young baby. The sides are a little flimsy so it did not work well for my hyper 2 1/2 year old but he does enjoy playing with the balls (which must be bought separately but aren't too expensive). However, since the sides are bendable you can fold it up and put away when done using it. This ball pit came with a bag to put it in when done using it, which was nice, but it did take me a few tries to figure out how to bend it properly to fit in the little bag. Overall, I think this is a great buy and I would definitely recommend it for a little one.

Before you start reading this review please know I was not paid and I received no incentive for this review. Also, keep in mind i purchased this product for my English Bulldog and NOT a child. I purchased this ball pit so that my English Bulldog had a place to store, hide, and play with her toys.She loves to carry around stuffed toys and bones. During the day I pull it all the way open for her so she can get in and out easily and play with her toys.Then at night I fold the sides in to form a small square and place her toys in there. She jumps/bulldozes in and out like nothing. My little frenchie loves it too! It's not very sturdy and collapses very easily, but isn't that what it's supposed to do?! It is super easy to pop up and fold if you want to store in a closet or corner somewhere. I love it and I have actually purchased 3 now in the last 3 years or so. They will obviously onlyhold the destruction from an English Bulldog for so long, however I am very pleased with how long these last. Of course, it won't let me upload a photo, but I will keep trying. P.S. the point of this post is that if it's durable and safe enough for a very ambitious Bulldog, then I'm pretty sure it's durable and safe for any young toddler to play in. As always supervise your toddlers play, most accidents occur because the parent wasn't watching the child to begin with.

I got this for my son when he was just over a year. When he got more rough, it couldn't hold up and the wires popped through. If you have ferrets, this would be perfect, or any other small creature that you want a corral for. My guinea pigs loved it for a few days before we tossed it.
