Whitest-white bulbs. Pure beautiful white light, no flickers, no mess.
Great bulbs, the white color for these is White-White, like pure white. These aren't off white like normal bulbs, nor are they excessively white to the point of being bluish. My point of getting these was to make my room feel like daylight to fight off SAD. These are great. My room feels happy now, house feels like daylight throughout even at night.Brightness is mildly brighter than a 40w bulb, think 50w-60w. Instant on, no hums, no flickers. However these do act funky in my ceiling fan which has a dim function. When you turn the lights off, these flash every second or two. I've heard this is common with cheaper bulbs, might buy more expensive dimmable bulbs for my room.Overall, fantastic. My house feels happy and I can control night and day when I want. I have a few regular bulbs in lamps too, so if I want a night feel, I turn off my brighter fixtures with these bulbs, and turn the yellow-ish bulbs on, making a happy night feel. If you have SAD, buy like 30 of these and kick those winter blues :). Thanks Amazon!!

Pretty bright for energy saving bulbs
I'm pleasantly surprised by how quickly these lightbulbs arrived. The packaging is pretty good because none of them broke in transit. These are so much brighter (6 watts) than any energy-saving lightbulbs I have ever bought. They have a cool futuristic look to them also. Overall this was a great buy.
