MANGO HOT 500 GM

This tastes good. But it is very expensive.

Indian hot pickle is not something everyone would like - but if you do like it, this is very good. It is spicy hot, but not fire breathing dragon hot. If I eat it straight, my nose runs a little but I don't grab the milk. Hubby likes it in small quantities and he wouldn't touch a jalapeno. If your restaurant has a hot scale from 1-5, then this, eaten straight, is a strong 3, maybe a weak 4. The flavor is very appropriate - if you like this kind of thing it is excellent.

The product is excellent and worthy 5 stars but, as two of three jars that I ordered were leaking, I could not do that. The plastic seal around the lid was intact but, something failed.

It does the job, I like it with daal or other dishes but by itself or on a sandwich (achaar sandwich) it’s not very satisfying. Also, it’s not very spicy to me, but I have a fairly high tolerance for heat so it may be very hot for people that are not used to eating spicy stuff. I was also a bit weirded out that the mango was so mushy inside.. I guess maybe they overcooked them, but I’m not used to the mango being so spreadable..lol. It makes spreading it on a sandwich easier but I miss that crunch you get from biting into the baby mango (Kairi). Overall, it’s not bad. I’m not used to this brand so maybe that’s why it didn’t have that same taste i’m used to.

Don’t recommend this product. Had to throw it away what a waste. Tasted really bad and texture was very bad.

I love the tangy flavor, I put this on everything, especially good in salads!

We discovered this at a local market in San Diego, and ever since I've been on the look-out to re-buy it.... Amazon to the rescue. This is our favorite relish (Patak's Chili Relish is also excellent), and yes, it's salty and spicy... but for us, that's point when we sneak into bites of our favorite Indian dishes. If you are a fan of spicy Indian relish, this is a must try... great flavor, adding a tasty punch to other dishes.
