I could have made one but it would have taken more time. In all honesty this item works if you take your time and apply downward pressure while u twist. Can’t go wrong for the price. Works on 99-07 f350 that I know of. I don’t know if the 08-23 use the same type of retaining ring but based on a quick google image search, it’s the same type of retaining ring (plastic with raise indentations). So im going to say it works 99-23. If u take out quite a few of them, weld the arms in place. Or even buy a few since they are that cheap and weld them in place for the “big three” truck manufacturers.I don’t know why you would fault the tool if it doesn’t work or it busted your ring retainer - it’s not specific to just one particular vehicle. Takes some skill and know-how to avoid damaging the retainer. Sometimes it’s unavoidable all together.I generally remove the retainer with a blunt chisel and it works well but I wanted something I can remove and tighten the retainer ring faster and more consistently. This fits the bill.

It got the job done but why I don’t give it five stars is kept slipping off. Even after I took some pliers to tighten the wing nuts down more still slipped. If you can deal with that, it’s a buy.

Needed to replace my fuel pump in my 1999 Jeep Sahara. Once you adjust the arms snuggly and be sure to tighten the wing nuts it turned the lock ring. It didn’t slip on the initial turn at all. The wing nut loosened up on its own somehow. Worked well tightening also. It’s a great tool for a light duty task. I’d change out the wing nuts for nylon lock nuts next.Pictures show old pump. Pump removed. New pump installed.

I tried to change my fuel pump in my 2004 eclipse with a screwdriver and hammer.....just DONT. Do yourself a favour and get this tool so changing it is a breeze. This tool is super super adjustable and I am sure it will fit 99% of fuel pump lock rings. As you can see from my picture getting to the lock ring without this tool is tight and not effective.

This tool doesn’t work, if the cover of the fuel pump is on tight, the metal on this tool just bends (both the socket and the hole it goes in).

Not super great. The arms on it are too tall, so you can’t get real good leverage on it. We had to strap it down just to get it to work because it kept falling off. It would’ve been better if the arms were adjustable because it did not work for our Mazda.

Works well to remove & install fuel pump lock rings. This tool makes it easy to do a job that's otherwise tricky.Removing the pump lock rings from a 2002 Thunderbird is nearly impossible without this tool. With the tool, it's a breeze.The adjustment slots are a bit rough, so it takes some fiddling to make small adjustments. But it's a minor detail that's not a problem.
